Montana's legislature has passed the nation's most aggressive anti-science law, prohibiting state agencies from considering the impacts of excess heat-trapping pollution when reviewing permits for large projects like coal mines and power plants.

Governor Greg Gianforte signed House Bill 971 into law, dealing a blow to evidence-based environmental policy, according to Inside Climate News.
It strengthens an existing state law that already banned considering "regional, national, or global" impacts.
less rain in winter, more wildfires, snow melting earlier and increased drought, average temperature rise of 2-3 degrees F (winter and spring by almost 4 degrees F) since 1950 and increased heatwaves with the number of 90 degrees+ days jumping by 11

a group of 16-year olds are suing Montana, but it might be the EPA's draft rule and the amended Clean Air Act that will enable an overriding of the legislature's determination to secure the 'bottom line' protection of the oil, gas and coal industries, with coal providing around 50% of Montana's electricity

basically, Montana's giving a big Fuck You to every American and even everyone in the world since we all share the same air as it circulates the earth. Perhaps the federal gov't could impose massive, and i mean MASSIVE, fines on the state for inflicting its dirty emissions on us all.

Antarctica Gained 200 Billion Tons of Ice During Recent Two-Year Period, Surprising Scientists

The only scientists surprised are the ones pushing pre determined conclusions, as opposed to forming conclusions on the basis of actual evidence.
So when you actually read the article you linked we find out that Antarctica is still down over 30 billion tons of ice and here’s this gem.

“Given that we’re in 2025, the scientists admit they don’t know if the trend in re-freezing continued or reversed. Given that the amount of precipitation was unusual, the scientists caution against assuming the trend will simply continue”

6,500 years ago, sea level was 20 feet higher.

Then the world began Cooling.

If not for Man intervening over the past 150 years, we’d be in a New Ice Age.

That's the way it works when science is corrupted by politics. What Mont. is doing is actually taking the politics out of science. Obviously that is irritating the scientific priesthood of "Global Warming" and their cult like followers.

When are you going back to writing weird free verse poetry? It was dumb, but not as dumb as your current “hot takes”.

You have science that shows the Earth isn’t getting warmer? Let’s see it.

We are in an inter-glacial period of the Earths climate and what it does during inter-glacial periods is get warmer and there's not a fucking thing you, or anyone else, can do to stop that.

I suggest that the government should start an assisted suicide program with conveniently located walk-in clinics for those so distressed by "Global Warming.'

As for the rest of you, turn off your computers, throw those smart phones away. Permanently disable your air conditioners and furnaces. Donate your stoves and refrigerators to Good Will. After you have an audited certificate that you've accomplished all that from a certified auditing company, like Price-Waterhouse, then and only then, are you in a position to tell anyone else what to do. Until such time keep your ignorant fucking mouth shut.

"Scientists admit they don't know. ". Lol. :)
