1. erika is the single best respected regular in this forum. she's earned that respect over literally years of having good insight and being helpful.
2. getting defensive when someone tells you that wanting to make a move on your mother is a bad idea means you're probably not old enough to be on lit in the first place.
erika's exactly right. actually making a move on someone related to you, never mind your own mother, is a real problem that will fuck up your relationship with your entire family--cuz how is she not gonna tell people when she's completely revolted by such an advance?

Sexual harassment only applies to educational institutions and jobs. It would either have to be general harassment (which might merit a restraining order) or sexual assault. Harassment gets special treatment, though, in cases of economic stability.I didn't realize that's what you meant.
