Putting a stimulus check in the bank defeats the entire purpose of a stimulus.
But we all know you didn't really. You can't afford that any more than anyone else here. Hell, I make a decent living and I was happy happy joy joy to get that deposit. I bought a mower and paid off 2 credit cards. I stimulated the economy. See how that works?

Now this money gets put back into the economy, just the same as spending;
it's what banks do with the money, to pay you interest, they have to invest it.
