Welcome back W&U... I'm glad to hear that you're finally getting settled in! I like my creature comforts, and I can't imagine going as long as you did without my stuff. But hopefully everything will be better, now that the fiasco of moving is behind you!

thanks Lynxie. If only it were really all that much better. I have yet to have a decent phone working in my apartment, and I'm really feeling tempted to call the phone company and tell them to shove it and cancel the thing altogether. All of the information regarding my benefits at work got screwed up and I'm still trying to figure out which way is up on that and have to enroll in it all within 3 days. On top of that fun stuff, I've got state income taxes being withheld from my paycheck for two different states due to a glitch in the computer system where I'm working (something happened when I changed my address). The more things start to go right, the more negative things start to pile up and make me feel absolutely miserable.

All is going well now out on the western front. I've got a phone in the apartment, and finally got the internet running. I opted for high speed dial up. It's pretty nice so far (although I've only had it for about 2 hours so far). I'm really liking my job a whole lot. It turns out that I'm doing so well within the first month that I've been there that come this Friday I'm getting someone new to train. It's a scary thought, but really exciting that they think I'm that capable to train someone new already. It's really exciting to say the least.

Thanks. I'm really happy right now, with some exceptions. If things go according to my planning at least, I'll be in complete happiness within 2 years and everything (and everyone) that I've been wanting will totally be happening.
