Every recent hurricane has rapidly intensified and exceeded the initial predictions.

I wouldn’t be at all surprised if Milton lands as another Cat 4.

I’m hoping Milton bucks the trend and eventually weakens, but hopes are slim in the era of anthropogenic climate change.

The models still haven't settled down yet. When I posted this all of them tracked through Central Florida in one line. Then they split, now they have several going north and one going south. I suspect we won't really have a refined modeling until later today and potentially tomorrow morning.
