Much to the outrage of parents, some students at a Massachusetts middle school this week were denied lunch. The 25 kids in question weren't allowed to eat because they couldn't afford to pay.

According to the Associated Press, students who couldn't pay or who were behind on their pre-paid accounts were flat out denied lunch by an employee of the district's lunch supplier. Some students cried and others were forced to throw their perfectly good food in the garbage when it was determined that they couldn't pay.

More socialist freeloaders trying to take advantage of good capitalists.

WTF? It was a privatized cafeteria worker that did this? Just where in the FUCK does this outrageous waste of tax dollars in public schools do us any good?

If they were prisoners they could have filed a lawsuit. :D

We pay more and more in tax dollars on our kid's education; only to see the quality of it fade away. And as much as we pay today, some kids can't even afford to eat that junk they call food these days?

I miss the days when I was in school. Even if we complained, we knew it was healthy food. We didn't have a choice because we were kids not ready to make good, health conscious decisions on our own. Parents that didn't like it, packed our lunches for us. No big deal.

We had a saying, "Good food, good yuck. Pay one buck or STFU!"
