Meliah
"Oh oh," Meliah whispered as she saw the dark elf turn and head in her direction. Anyone with an inkling of pyschic awareness was sensitive to scrying, what had she been thinking? She tensed in a defensive stance, but then remembered what she had seen in the water. A fight would be foolish, she would lose.
Much to her surprise, the elf was not overtly hostile. "I am Sael," he said. He stood there, perfectly balanced, like a very deadly dancer. This elf was not one to play with and if Meliah's eyes weren't playing tricks, she could swear he was scenting the air.
Extending her hand, she introduced herself. "I am Meliah. I'm sorry, I should have minded my own business. It was just that you seemed so sad, I couldn't ignore it." As he reached for her hand, she noticed something was not right. Not sure what, it suddenly became clear when he hestitated before taking her hand. He could not see! Never in a million ages would she have guessed from watching him move through the crowd. "Oh my, you must have the most amazing senses!" she exclaimed. "I'm sorry, that was unforgivably rude of me. I am going to be quiet now, before I stick my foot in my mouth any further."
