Ok, One of the guys over in BR tried this just before Christmas, for New Years Eve. Well, needless to say, it didn't work out. Sooo.... Me n NSW have both popped, and will only be a few weeks more before we both feel normal. Let's try to have another go at?

I know there are several in Big Rapids, me n Lekov in Mt Pleasant, some in K-zoo... not sure where else off the top of me head, though.

Let's try to get together!

Well I am a michigan tranferee.......I lived here from 81 to 84 and now I am living in Bay City......Until the middle to end of Feb...
Then I move to Holland, MI.......I am a go for the get together most anywhere in the state......I will even help you with this If I can.......a Couple of ideas.......

1...pick 3 or 4 spots in the state

2..start a poll on which spot....

3...Get help from the closes person to the spot picked

4...Pick a date.....maybe by poll again

Ok, the casino works GREAT for me, being as it would be a 5 minute drive, and all. It is right in the middle of the state, so it's not obscenly far for anyone really, I don't think.

Bay City is all of what, like an hour away?
Big Rapids is about the same.
K-zoo would be closer to.. well, it takes me just over an hour
to get to GR, and K-Zoo is about 40 (can't remember, don't shoot me if I am wrong on time estimate) minutes from GR, so 1hr 40min.
Holland isn't much farther then K-Zoo, time wise.

AND... I know all the hotels, bars, and um... well, there isn't anything else here. But I know where they all are!

I like Mt Pleasant, but hell, that's just cause it's really damn easy for me, and I wouldn't need a hotel for it.

got my surgery booked feb 12th.
will take a few days to a week to be walking again if everything goes well.

don't rearange things just for one person, but if you can aim for late Feb please.

I would say, go for Mt' Pleasant.

Of course, since I live in Big Rapids it would be so much easier for me, but there is damn near NOTHING to do here. It is after all a small town where you're judged by the size of your truck....LOL

I think Mt. Pleasant is central enough for all. PLus it has a casino which I think is the perfect scenario for a lit meeting.

And March 1st sounds good to me btw.

Hiya everyone, count me in....As for where and when, I'm not too particular, although if it may turn out I have to work on that weekend...It sounds as if it is March 1st so far, in Mt. Pleasant, which I should be able to do. I just lost my car, but expect that I will either have it back, or a new one by then. If not Mt. Pleasant, then GR is fine for me too.
