So far, the meeting is Mt Pleasant, March 1st.

What I have worked out, and let me know if there are objections, is that we all meet around 7pm, so that it gives anyone who has to work enough time to get there. I was hoping we could all meet for dinner some place near the casino, and have a bite to eat first, then go over there.

Another option is, renting a conference room at the casino, or in a nearby hotel, though that would mean everyone chipping in a bit. I havn't gotten any info on prices for this yet.

Anyone have any input on what you want?

Also, does anyone want to stay in town 2 nights? Or just one? Cause if it's two nights, I want to have something more planned.

Well, we have LOTS of bars around here.


However, I will warn you all now. We are a college town. Filled with college kids. Most the bars will be filled with the late teen/early 20's crowd of self-involved college kids.


The bars in town are:

Wayside- Lots of drinking, pool tables, and a dance floor that's always filled.
Rubbles- Never been there, but they do live bands, no dancing.
Blackstone- No dancing, but they do Kareoke (sp?)
The Pub- Itty Bitty Teeny Tiny microscopic dance floor, and lots of frat boys and sorority brats. One of those places where the girls are all dressed the same, and the boys are clones.
Boomers- Only 2 pool tables, small dance floor that was empty the entire night I was there the one time.


Now, those are the popular places. There are small bars that serve the locals all over as well, but I don't believe any do dancing.

I am thinking I -may- try to have a party out at my place on Saturday night, but we will see how many plan to stick around for Saturday night, too.


Ok, I also would like it if everyone who intends to come, or is thinking of coming, to email me, so we can get a head count, and know who to expect, that sort of thing. Then, I can just email directly, to keep people updated.
