I just read the thread about women in Overalls and I agree they can be very hot. I was wondering if there was something men that men wear that seems to increase the complement level.

"Good fitting" Wrangler jeans seem to get approving stares and comments from both the crotch watchers and the bun-loving types. ;)

I honestly think it depends on the guy. The best thing is seeing a man who is comfortable in whatever he's wearing. I hate seeing a guy in a suit that doesn't want to be wearing it. He looks awful.
On the other hand, that mechanic down the street, he looks damn good in those coveralls.

I like seeing men in clothes that fit them properly.

I know ultra prissy shoes are a turn off, unless they're a dragqueen, and then it's a turn on.<grin>

I agree with Perky. If it suits you, you probably look good in it.

That's not to say that I don't appreciate a man that wears something that shows off the line of their shoulders, or empasizes long legs.

And most of y'all know my passion for a man in a pair of jeans so old and faded they they are molded to you.

But CE, I like ya in those boots! :)

OMG....you've been looking in my drawers. LMFAO

My favorite jeans are older Wranglers that are almost light blue from being washed so much, but very soft....and which seem to naturally conform "everywhere".

Same with my old boots.

hmm

Most clothes that feel comfortable to you I think will look good on you.
There is a Dock commercial and it says the answer to the little black dress for men. Three guys are in little black dresses in the commercial... Not Hot.. lol

Thanks, Piper!

I have to strut around in my jeans and boots more often. :)

Faded t shirts that hang...just the right way...yum.

Faded Levi's that hang just onto a worn pair of black boots...yum.

I have many "absolutelynots" for men, if you're interested.

I had a large collection of faded Ts and blue jeans. Normally, I don't wear boots.

What are you absolutelynots? Do tell.

THIS is WRONG - Do not do this:

That's my girl.

Also, since ya didn't ask, here's a couple more no-no's:

pleated or baggy pants that taper at the ankle.

pointy shoes, and no, I don't care where you got them.

The Paul Reiser look....jeans up to the middle of your torso.

Shhh! ;)

I have a pair of jeans so faded that they can't even be called blue anymore...that's what I'm talkin' about. Wooo hoo!

not particularly fond of sandals for men.

I don't like those ultramesh t-shirts either, just ew.

No pleated pants? Okay, making a note.

Isn't Paul Reiser rather short? Could add to the look.

What about black ankle boots that Zip on the side? (sort of like Captain Kirk boots). Bad. right?

What great about them is they not only look good, they are sooo comfortable to wear.

Pleats aren't the entire issue, it's when the pleats are coupled with the baggy thigh and the tapered bottom. (shit, I'm nitpicky??)

Heighth has nothing to do with it; keep those jeans down at your hips where I can see em'.

I don't know which boots you're talking about, but anything with laces is good, and they don't have to be boots. Workmen type black shoes are good...faded around the toe...yum.

I have weird yummy things with men's attire, I suppose.

Sweaters are very tricky; stay away from anything a la Cosby, but we can stray back to this in the winter months.

Very picky. I'll just have to have you measure me, I mean my pants.

These are the boots I mean.

Warning label to all men buying shoes:

Never buy something you could even remotely picture a woman wearing, save combat boots or Doc Martins.

Those boots would look great....on me.

Absolutely. In fact, this should extend to all items of clothing apparel. What's the deal with this neo-Dandyism?
