Well ladies, whats the consensus? My girlfriend finds it to be a big turn on and I love women with pierced tongues...oh man and tattoos especially on the lower back.

Pierced tongues are a very "in your face" display of sexuality. I would not date a man with one and certainly would not want to be associated with such in my business contacts. The tongue ring has only to reasons I can see: to perform oral sex, and to advertise that you perform oral sex.

Very unprofessional except for a whore.

YES, its neccessary to post it THREE times.....I kept getting a "page cannot be displayed" error so I wasn't sure if my FIRST post ever got posted. I dont think a tongue ring is an outright proclamation that one enjoys or gives oral sex. Aaaah! Pessimist alert!

They tend to destroy the teeth too.

And I agree that they're some sort of advertisement.

well i don't really find it a turn on or turn off. I just think of it as a person's statement. Some people do it just to do something different, similar to a tattoo. And in my opinion, it just looks like something that would hurt! ouch!!

How is it something 'different' when it seems like everyone under the age of 25 has one?

different as opposed to their normal selves i mean. Not necesarily different from someone else. And of course most of them are under 25. Thats when most people start searching for some kind of identity. How many 80 yr olds do you see with purple hair, new tattoos, exotic piercings, or out in the world traveling trying to "find themselves".

I have many piercings.. some I have removed for personal reasons.. others I have left for personal reasons.

My eyebrow I had done.. because I could.. no other reason than that.. and I like it.

My tongue.. it's done twice.. once in the "normal" place and once on the tip of the tongue.. I neither lisp nor spit when I talk.. no one can tell I have them unless I stick my tongue out at them. I had these piercings done... NOT because I want everyone to know that I perform oral sex.. but because it is MY tongue and I can do with it as I please.

My nipples have been pierced in the past.. they aren't anymore. I did those, because to be honest.. I'm addicted to the piercing process. Not the piercings themselves.

I had the webbing between my toes done.. I've had the webbing between my fingers and thumb done.. I like piercing. It's a rush to me.. just like a person who parachutes out of an airplane who gets a rush from that. (omg.. I'm also addicted to that.. but it far more expensive than piercing).

My husband has his tongue pierced.. it feels no different to me than when he didn't have it pierced. Oral sex is as good now as it was before. Someone with piercings doesn't turn me on.. me being pierced does.

It's a personal choice as to why we do the things we do... I'm not on this earth to please anyone but myself.. Piercing pleases me.. so I have it done..

Everyone has opinions.. :) but please.. don't judge me because I'm pierced and tattoed..

The guy I talk too doesn't lisp and his tongue is pierced. Has been for years.

My best friend also has her tongue pierced, she lisped maybe for the first 5 days and now you wouldn't even know it's there.

Everyone is different, you don't go "looking" for a guy or a Girl with a pierced tongue, you "look" for the person. It's the person that is the "Turn on" not the piercing, besides piercings can always be removed, Tattoo's on the other hand can't.

Tattoo's are a MAJOR turn on for me. I don't know why, and they have to be art of some form, not so many of them all in one spot that you can't make out what the hell they are.
