Morning cat! sorry 'bout last night, hubby came in while I was doing the laundry thing and needed phone...he just turned it off without letting me say bye...rude bastard 
I know of one guy that posed as a woman. One of the girls he suckered into a 3some was a great friend of mine. She had no idea it was a male posing as a female. He said he did it to get back at her for all the bitchin and complaining she had done in the lounge. Needless to say, when he told her what he had done, she was livid and completely freaked out. I believe he is the most hated man at lit, I haven't seen him chat, but I'm sure he just changed his nick. I am very leary of new people at lit for that reason. You can never be absolutely certain who you are talking to.

My biggest problem with this whole thing, these men get involved with someone, and maintain a relationship........This in my opinion is wrong, playing with someone's emotions is evil......I hope the person involved, is ok Bratcat, she will need a shoulder to lean on I am sure....As for the poser, YOU SUCK............

I know, with absolute certainty, that two of the very popular Literoticians in the last 1.5 - 2 years were men posing as women. Neither is here anymore because they both confessed the truth to me and to a few others in another place, and then they both left Lit. All this happened months ago, too. As i promised at the time, i will not tell names.
Their stories were very similar. Neither of them meant any harm by the deception. Both came here looking for what we all came here for, some harmless fun, some distraction, some laughs. Like all of us, each of them faced the "enter your Lit nick" screen - and, for some unfathomable reason, entered a woman's nick. They then posted as women. Both were very well-known here. Both amassed thousands of posts. Neither, as far as i know, ever chatted with anyone with any romantic intentions, as a woman or a man.
In another place, invited to join a very small group of women, each felt honor-bound to confess the truth of his gender. After that, each felt he had no choice but to leave the new place and Lit, that he could no longer post deceptively.
As all of us know, once you find a place here and it becomes a part of your daily life, it's very hard to walk away. These two did , though, and deserve recognition for doing that when it needed to be done.
So, yes. I *know* there are men at Lit posing as women. I still don't know why but if they're not harming anyone, who cares? If they're using the alternate gender identity to confuse or take advantage of others here, though, we should be alarmed by the deception. I just don't know anything first hand about the latter situation - and i do know the former has happened and, in all likeilhood, is still occuring. And, if no harm is being done, who cares?
