men: do you like tatoos on women?

i am thinking of a new tatoo...i was going to get on on my breast. a male friend of mine said not to because guys will think you are trashy....is this true? i have a rose on one ankle and a butterfly on the other....is it the tattoo in general or the fact it would be on my breasts....any opinons?

It really depends on the tatoo. the woman who is sporting it and where it is located. I do find most attractive, however!

As for your question. How big will the tattoo be and how noticeable will it be? Will it be covered in all but the most intimate situations or will it be readily seen in everything but a turtleneck?

I've been warring with this conception for the longest time. I have wanted a tattoo since I was a kid, drawing on my skin, fake tattoos, whatever.

I finally waited until I was thirty to get one. And you know what? I'm glad I did.

My mother asked me what I will do when I'm 80 how classy will my tattoo be?

And I said, you know, I'll be able to tell my grandkids about a special time in my life. How I remember it, because of this one mark. I revel in art, I show my spirit.

I can't think of a classier reason to have a tattoo.

Plus, I'm a badass with my duckie tattoo

I personally think that trashy is a state of mind rather than a physical thing. Tattoos on women are cool... depending on the tattoo, not the location.

I may be biased but I know a lot of very classy women with all sorts of tattoos. From full back pieces to dainty little fairies on the ankle. A woman with "Born to Bonk Bikers" tattooed on her forhead wouldn't do a hell of a lot for me but might get a real rise oout of her man.

Check out the Tatto thread. Lots of Lit ladies have posted some really beautiful work... non of them are trashy.

A rose, heart, buterfly, dolphin, or anything similar, my favorite sites to see one are the ankle, small of the back, and of course the breast!

Personally i think a small tatoo on the inner side of the ankle is a nice addition for a woman.
I don't think i would ask my woman to get one anywhere else though.
Just me though.
Other men love that kind of stuff.

LMAO... I gotta say, I have never been quite that excited about getting tattooed before. I am thinking about getting one in a more exotic location than usual though... I have the design in mind but have to work out the rigidity logistics with my tattooist... LMAO

I live in a conservative town, (well not for long anyway) so naturally I'm classed as trash, and every other name they can think of because I have 2 tattoos, one on upper arm, and a big one on my right thigh. They are both of my heritage, so I'm real proud of them.

In fact Im still getting work done on my thigh, and have a week and a half to get it finished. Argggggg!! I don't think I think now all that's needed is the white.

As a female, I love tattoos, but must admit I waited till I was 45 before I got my first one last year.

I love the small delicate ones, but they aren't for me. Everyone is suited to certain ones, and if not chosen correctly then they will look outta place. But that is my personal opinion.

Whatever you decide will look great.
