Everything the U.S. government did in the 20th Century, and in the 21st, that in hindsight was at all worth doing had LW and not RW roots, regardless of which party initiated it (the parties' pre-1960s ideological identities being rather fluid). That applies to all the achievements of the Progressive Era, the New Deal, the Civil Rights movement and the Great Society (and, yes, the Great Society had real achievements). If you hunt for RW achievements of real value in the same time period, you won't find much. E.g., nothing Reagan did was really worth doing, and W did nothing but make things worse.
