Memes are ideas... the building blocks of mind and culture, spread by repetition. In this case, Memeufacture tracks the spread of popular memes, sorted by category by scanning many Web sites representing various genres.

The categories are politics (right and left), Apple, law, and design. The first few items are the popular news items followed by the most influential Web sites for spreading the idea relating to the news item.

If you're interested in seeing what's hot out on the 'net this is worth checking out.

No way man. While I am interested in the meme phenomenon, I also love looking at pictures of some dude's dad acting as a fluffer to a giant Santa Claus. Great link!
