So I ask the guy for Melatonin. He asks what strength so of course I say give me the most powerful you got. one. Then 2. Three. 4.

I must be immune.

I am assuming this is over the counter Melatonin? Was this your first time taking it? As a sleep aid it can be hit or miss. Taken over long periods of time some people can build an immunity. I had a friend who couldn't take it anymore because it didn't do anything for him after years of taking it. My wife takes it for her sleeping issues and it knocks her right out but for me it just give me weird dream and I wake up more tired.

Ambien. Sleep like a baby and you can plead ignorance on your bad behavior later. Sorry, I don't remember that.
Bliss.

Make sure you are not taking timed release melatonin. It is for establishing and maintaining a more normal cycle.

For a "sleeping pill", you want non timed release melatonin. Sometimes it is harder to find, but it's out there. You don't need a big dose.

I was working in Europe for awhile and took Ambien with me. I literally didn't sleep for 2 weeks. Get better results with plain ol' benadryl.

Never had a sleeping pill in my life. The idea creeps me out for some unreasonable reason. Amateur anaesthesia.

You did it wrong. Says don't take with food, liars. Pop one and eat a small piece of cheese and drink a small glass of milk. You will be crawling on the floor to bed shortly after.

Quite possibly a lactose trigger.

After a while I discovered grappa. That helped. :)
