i so want to meet another bi/lesbian female if not to have a relationship with then to be friends with, but i just cannot find anyone! i have been on every personals website i can find and nothing is happening. i am getting frustrated. i don't know where to start. i can't just go out and tap people on the shoulder and ask if they want to be my friend! LMAO!!!!

does anyone have any advice for me????

thanks!

Try a local college or university. Most schools now have some form of Lesbian/Gay/Bisexual/Transgender (LGBT) student group. That could be a great place to meet other LGBT people, be social, and, if you want, become active in LGBT issues.

Note: It would be bad form to use such a group merely to troll for a sex partner.

If you are looking to connect with a slightly older population, the group's faculty advisor may be able to refer you to other community resources. Or try looking in the phone book under "Lesbian", "gay", "bisexual", or "social service" and see what you find.

Good luck!

bi chickie here once again.. question? Why is it that you're looking for only bi or lesbian girls? Straight girls can make good friends, too, and a lot of straight girls are very open-minded and understanding about the queer lifestyle.

However, if you're REALLY set on finding a queer chickie friend, then (at least around here), there are some markers to look for: thumbrings, rainbow belts, short, streaked hair, keds. I know that sounds stereotypical, but I work in a Pride group, and lol, it's pretty much a uniform.. either one of those things, or a combination. I used to have the short, streaked, spiky hair. Now I do none of those things, but I've been told I give off a not-quite-straight vibe anyway.

And yes, if you're really down to the line, ASK. Some women might be offended, but then some might not.

You miss every shot you don't take.

lol, you sound like a friend of mine, who's relentless. its like 9 women in a row will shoot him down, but that 10th just smiles...

it takes courage and stamina, but it does pay off!

I am bi, and came out to my best friend a few months ago (hell I only admitted it to myself a few months ago  ) She is straight, but she's so understanding and we had a long girly talk last night (till 1.30am and we were only drinking coffee, honest ;) ) I have told her things I've never told anybody else and I know they will go no further, and the reverse applies. I don't know what I'd do without her....thanks D :rose:

i have plenty of straight friends. mostly it is just to talk to someone else that has the same feelings as me you know?

Join Yahoo groups

Register with Yahoo then go to Groups and try using bi female or lesbian in group search . Join a group and check for members in your area .

go to collegeclub.com and register for the lesbian and bi groups. Good chat about important issues, and some really friendly chicas there. I used to be a member, but moved on.

or try this

You could try talking to me for a while and I may be able to introduce you to my gf. Shes in a similar perdicament as you are in. She is very intrested in finding a bi girl if not only to be friends with. Shes attracted to women but not sure if shes totally bi. Anyways maybe the two of you could chat a bit and see where that goes. By the way, we are in nj too

If you're just looking to talk, online forums are a great way to start. :) I think someone already mentioned the groups at Yahoo! and collegeclub.com, and of course there's our very own Literotica.com. ;)

And from there, you can find hundreds of ways to meet people in your own area, along with getting some good tips on the usual safety concerns...

Hi sweet....looks like you got some good advice there. I have been in the same predicament before as well, and would love to talk to you sometime. PM me if you like.
