My wife and I have met two people. Lovely time had both times.

Sounds like a page from my book. First meet is always in a public place, with the understanding that at the end of he meet there is zero obligation. This has worked out fairly well thus far since it gives you time to consider taking it to the next level, and not just by a chance meeting where you are lustful. For me, if I was looking merely for a one time hookup it would be easier to find then here on lit, or any other regular chat site. It also gives you an opportunity to see if they are still interested with you, if the chemistry is right, and all the precautions are in place.

I got very fortunate it could have gone very bad but we both truly developed mutual trust first. Plus she really wanted to be independent and I have always done that.

My spirit can't be broken that easily, though it did get very "Fuck You" for a long time. But I have real friends now who have had a lot of patience with me and have shown me how genuine friends actually behave.

(My "fuck you" was there before him, but I'm quicker at using it now.)

Have you ever met another member from Lit?

Yes, I've met seven Litsters, all platonic.

#1 was a friend who helped me through literal nightmares during my divorce. He'd stay on the phone with me until I could sleep. We met up once I moved here, but haven't been able to get together again.

#2 is my brother from another mother. We spend an afternoon together when he's out this way. He's been to my house, met my family.

#3&4 were in town and we got together for lunch.

#5-7 are my besties. We met up in Vegas for the weekend.

There was supposed to be a #8 when he came to the states, but that was one of the years I was dealing with kidney stones.

The farthest was Vegas. It's 150 miles for me, but they flew in from the East Coast and a southern state.
