None of which was due in any part to any actions of the previous administration.

Why is it that anything good that happens while a Dem does in office you claim that had no part in, but when the same is true of a Republican, you pretty much claim they wrote it out longhand?

I simply give credit where it's due.

The technological revolution was what sparked the great economy. It would have happened if Bill Clinton were in office, if Bob Dole were in office, if Ross Perot were in office, if Al Gore were in office (shit, he did invent the thing, after all), or if Purple Haze's monkey were in office.

Clinton — and the Republican Congress, I might add — were just lucky enough to be able to sit back and enjoy the ride. Clinton didn't create "peace and prosperity" any more than the sun came up today because I commanded it to. As a matter of fact, he did his damndest to fuck it up, and it happened despite his actions.

True that Clinton and Gore didnt CREATE peace and prosperity, but they did put some key people into office that helped to improve things.. without us getting into any major military conflicts. Lets see if Bush can accomplish this, he's really not been doing a good job of it so far.

Well, considering war was brought to our shores, I don't think he can really be blamed.

I'll take Colin Powell and Donald Rumsfeld over Madeline Albright and . . . whoever the hell Clinton's Secretary of Defense was any day.

Not only is there nothing new being said, the Dems are going to go further left, when that happens a 50/50 divide will become 40/60 split. They still dont get it.:D

The Party is in Dis-array, but then I have been saying that for some time.

Many, very old, Democrats do not realize that this is no longer their party, but a party of the dis-enfranchised, not the working class...

They want to tax you for marrying, for working, and for dying.

Tax the rich, my ass. Tax those who can't speak for themselves...

They GET it. Like Aldrich pointed out in yesterday's column...

Watch out for those hidden pockets of HOMELESS who are going to suddenly pop up. And Seniors who are turning to the VETS (not Veterans) for medication...

We have nothing to fear, but fear itself!
