Remember way back when you were a little kid and the teacher would ask a question and you would raise your hand because you thought that you knew the answer?? And then the teacher would call on someone else. And then you would find out that you really didn't have the correct answer. Talk about relief.

That is why it always helps to have another adult in the house now...I can always just say...go ask your dad :)

HAHAHAAAA Blue!

Yeah ... I remember, too.

But, we sure looked smart with our hand raised!

Blue,

You forgot the whine in the me, me, me. Raise your hand really high, wave it around and bounce up and down in your seat a little bit harder. Oh, and don't forget the disgusted groan when she calls on someone else.

We teachers live for those moments.

Really, honestly, we do.

slowly counting to ten thousand and reminding myself that this behavior CAN be controlled

Do you remember the squeaking noise you used to make as you did it in an attempt to stretch your arm to the ceiling?
Maybe that was just me......

Remember those "ooo ooo ooo sounds....

that used to accompany your hand raising gestures??
