This may not be the place to do this but I would love to offer my thanks to those that I have so much respect for on this site and the "how to" forum on the lit site. I came here several years ago and just fell in love with the site but kind of always hung back in the background and didn't say much unless a topic came up that I felt really strong about. There are several people here though who I have learned so much from and have gotten to a point where I feel I can even give my opinions. I always enjoy reading the posts from Eilan, Cathleen, Weird Harold, Scalywag and Sheath. I always look for those names first because they are always there with so much to say. I may not always agree but I have come to respect your opinions so much. There are others as well who always give some profound insight to a topic but these have always been the ones that I see on every very important topic and least I forget to mention the totally awesom mr. ggg. Thank you all for your insights, opinions and the care and thoughtfulness you give to your responses. I love you all!

this sentiment can't really be echoed enough. there ARE some very giving and caring people here... in fact, most everyone falls under that description and only a few who evade it.

i think you make an excellent point with the issue of disagreement too. having a fruitful dialogue about different opinions is a great feature of HT.

awww... thanks... i consider it an honor to be in erika's company (along with the rest, of course). i didn't feel overlooked though... the cafe is where i wind up spending most of my time.

Thanks MrsJ. I don't really consider myself insightful on some of the really tough issues, like LadyJeanne, Erika or Eilan might offer, but if I have something to say, I'll say it. That's one of the nice things about the HT and HTC, if a person is sincere about stating their opinion, their opinion will be respected.

Sometimes I find I have too much to say. When I find myself typing "anyway" again, I know it's time to wrap up the post.

and I repect that. Thats what I like is those that have something to say and they say it and it's informative and helpful.

I've tried a couple of boards like this and this one, by far, is the best for concise, MATURE answers, opinions and advice from folk who not only KNOW but CARE too.

I'll add a HUGE THANKS to the owners of the board as well. Without officious intervention they (and we) have managed to send most of the morons who come on just to see themselves in print, packing off to a board more suiting their mental limitations.
