I don't like "Stolen valor" AT ALL, and if Maryland's governor lied about receiving such an honor, he needs to be called out.

I have even less tolerance of abuse of government power and military troops usurping civilian authority. This has no place in a free and democratic nation. Basically, federal takeover of policing is, by definition, SOCIALISM. (funny how the same people who are always crying "Socialism" when it comes to things like race relations- you know, things that actually have nothing to do with socialism- have nothing to say about this!)

One thing I learned from working with the military - they are not all heroes (I naively thought they all were, when I started) and many of their promotions and medals are political (which shocked the hell out of me). I never served in danger, so I have nothing on Wes Moore. But he is becoming less impressive as he tries to protect the criminals of Baltimore to own Trump.
I watched every episode of The Wire. I heard it is even worse today.
