I know that there's a lot of witch hunting going on right now. It seems that everyone is convinced that our resident mental nine year old is a regular. People see patterns in speech and patterns in behavior. We're running entirely on circumstantial evidence for this one and rather than make this board someplace where people can hang out and have some good discussion we're turning it into cyberSalem.

Frankly, I'm not at all convinced that the look-at-me-I'm-an-asshole!-aren't-I-great? is some other regular at all. It would take some heavy duty talking out of your ass to get me to believe that someone we've been associating with for a while could be so out and out childish. I don't particularly care what popular theory has it as or who anyone is trying to out.

It's not fun to come to a place and see thread after thread slammed up where shadowy allusions to who might be the persona-non-grata-du-jour. People wonder if others are thinking that it's them, and how do they defend themselves from it. Just because it looks incriminating doesn't mean that it is incriminating.

Start thinking before gossiping in PM, it'll help mellow this place out. Immensely, even.

It's never once occured to me that Hanns is Marxist. I've seen some of the "proof" and speculation that has been posted here and has been going around in PMs and none of it convinces me.

I do not believe that Hanns is Marxist. I do not believe that Marxist is Hanns. Whether you agree with Marxist on various issues - or stances he's taken - or have had controversial interactions with him in the past - that is all just circumstantial - and is circumspect as well.

Marxist's job does not allow him the kind of time and hours that Hanns has spent here - and he takes is job seriously.

Marxist would also never say some of the things to certain people that Hanns has said - not even in jest.

Eh.. Yes.. They do seem to be in a bit of a slump.. And I'm working on the problem.. But after all I did for the Cardinals, it's taking me a while to pool together my resources.. They're more than likely out of it (play-offs) as far as this season is concerned.. Hopefully.. They'll return with a better start next season and become the incredible powerhouse that they have the potential to be..
