_pebbles said:I feel like I'm mourning the loss of our lust and my sexuality. I know he's feeling it too. I know he loves me ... he's going to the doctor later in the month to get Viagra or something like it. I appreciate the gesture. I hope it works .. I hope I get over these feelings of "oh great, he's gotta take a pill just to desire me." I'm lacking in the thinking-positive department recently.
Oh hun be GLAD he's willing to DO something!!! He's not going to take a pill to desire you! He DESIRES you and is WILLING to take a pill to follow through on it. DO you seriously think HE feels good about having to take a pill to "get it up"??
Good grief hun, I would have been ECSTATIC if my ex had been willing to do this... he wasn't and we're no longer married. Give the man credit and encourage him, let him know you're PROUD of him, for facing the problem, rather than making him feel like less of a man because he has a "performance problem". Stop feeling sorry for yourself, peb and look at the issue through HIS eyes... you just may see it in a whole different light.
*hugs*
