I was curious how many married posters/lurkers frequent the boards without the knowledge of their spouses. Do you feel your participation here has positively or negatively effected your marriage?

Personally, my husband doesn't know. I'd like to include him at some point. I guess I'm enjoying flirtation with other men without his knowledge an exciting thing. We've been married my entire adult life. Flirting with other men is something I find I'm craving at this point in my life.

I am married. my wife does know that I go to literotica (although not here since I just joined). It has opened up our marriage somewhat.
I just enjoy being able to talk about almost anything without major bruhas.

first off, great thread. i played extensively on another site like this one for a couple of years and yes, it got way out of hand. and no, my wife doesn't know. if she did, she wouldn't "approve". i think she's related to some of the spouses some of you have.

the other site has a bulletin board very much like this one and i actually met several folks from there in real life. i met both men and women. men as friends, we still keep in touch. some of the women i met as friends, some others as more. my job involved alot of travel, so it got to a point where i had "friends" in several destinations.

anyway, some of the cyber-relationships got way out of hand. just imagine "fatal attraction" on the internet. i still don't know to this day why it got that far. i know one thing, it's easy to mistake personal kindness as something else on the internet. the one common denominator was that all the women were having problems in their r/l relationships, and i guess i was in the wrong place at the wrong time.

let's just say, i'm lucky my wife never got a phone call from one of these women late on night.

i don't want to make it sound all negative, since i'm still friends with some of the women i met on the BB. they still send me pics and sexy emails. but the one thing they all have in common is that they all are still married and their hubbies know about me and we're friends as well.

i guess the big lesson from my experiences is that if the other person starts talking about problems in their r/l, run, don't walk!!! it's easy to start off being a shoulder to lean on and ending up being the "knight in shining armor" unwittingly. once they hang that on you, you're screwed.

anyway, party on. be sexy to each other and do unto others...
