March Same title Challenge

Concur with #20 belonging to Ashesh

#10 has Butterfingerprints on it, so I agree with Harry Palms.

#19 is a story that only the likes of GM can tell.

I wouldn't be surprised if Ashesh was behind #17 as well.

Leaning towards #2 being UYS.

My sixth sense is that #11 is Lyricalli.

#3 is more of a guess than anything : Piscator

More guessing that #5 is by Angeline.

Gonna do my guessing over the next couple of days, but some wonderfully entertaining reads in the crop. So cool the diversity these same title challenges engender

The short ones are always impossible to guess due to a lack of tells.

And the more meat on the bone, the more I'm going to gnaw on it till I can marrow down who the author is.

Damn, I lost my guesses in electron-space. I hate that! I probably can't reconstruct too many of them. Quite a spate of lovely poems, all!

Let's see:

I guessed #18 was butters, but I see it isn't - I found it lovely, Trix.

I also had guessed #9 was UYS but see I was wrong.

I'll guess #7 is UYS and be wrong again.

#4 - butters or Angie or maybe possibly GP - lovely

#11 is AH - it's got so many of his signature-type words and structure I'd bet my first born on it.

#13 - Remec?

#14 - Magnetron or HH

I thought and still think #15 is probably Magnetron but could be Ash if ellipse length is so telling.

I concur on #19 with everyone else who guessed gm.

About #9, I need some instruction: it is labeled a pantoum, but to e it looks more like a villanelle. I understand that they are related forms, but according to Wikipedia, a pantoum is largely made up of quatrains? Help!

Durn it, foiled again!

* makes call to optometrist to have his Third Eye examined *

Hoping it just needs antibiotics :D

Wait you said optometrist, I knew this porn site would ruin my eyes

#11 sounds like AH to me, but it's not a sonnet which he often writes, so maybe he went freestyle on this one.

Mea culpa. Yes, I'm freestylin', but my aural fixation for assonance 'n' consonance won't leave me be.

#2 is an acrostic. I have a feeling this poem is Piscator's. I like how it's succinct, but has a big story in those few, rhymed lines.

Interesting! I may have to revise my guess. Would GM write an acrostic? Possibly not.

As the host of the recent Valentines' Villanelle contest I agree, although I had to look it up to make sure.

I am not responsible for 2, 3 (Angeline's) or 8.

In fact completely missed that #2 was an Acrostic until Angie pointed it out. I immediately speculated UYS but that too proved false.

As GM pointed out a while back, there are some rather unfortunate contractions of my handle, may I suggest Ptor?

I was pleased and flattered that two really terrific poems were attributed to me before you got the list of participants out. There are subjects I find difficult to be inspired by and unfortunately, this spring had no fertile stirrings of a poem on that very topic. We're still deep in ice and snow and although the ranchers are probably starting their busy-ness of birthin' cattle babies, I have not found a poem in it. Maybe I need to visit a prenatal clinic to try to even think about the wombs of women growing humans. At any rate, sorry there were no poems from me.

.. :rose:
the title suggests so much more than procreation; the lack of it would make an equally appropriate poem, don't think I need to suggest more than that to you good to see you post :)
