Hey y'all! How is everyone doin' these days?

I know I have been a very bad blu. But I do have a topic if anyone is interested. It's all about the game. Or so I have been told. A reliable male friend has informed me that yes indeed boys and men like to play games when interested in someone. So you tell me, should I believe him? I gotta admit that my past history does bear out his assertion but I am interested in what y'all think.

Sure games are played. Probably has a lot to do with ego and what is wanted out of the relationship. Part of it could be a defensive mechanism or just because one is selfish. This is as old as man himself.

Don't you think that by playing games one effectively loses the advantage? As soon as the other figures it out, they now control the relationship.

Yes, I suppose that is the risk of entering any type of relationship.

I just mean they are in control only so long as the other party continues to play. Does that make sense? If someone starts playing games with me, I immediately understand that this relationship is going to last only as long as I want to play along. It tells me that they aren't serious and so I if at any point I get tired of the game, it will effectively end..
 
Well, if you have skin in the game and you figure out it's a game, they should be called on it and see where it goes from there. Maybe depends on the seriousness of the 'game'. I suppose more info is needed on the game being played.
