I know we have lots of threads on collars, but most of them seem female-focused and don't quite fit this situation.

I'm in the market for a collar for my guy that can be worn just about 24/7. It needs to be comfortable, stylish and discreet enough that he can pass it off as just a cool/unique/masculine piece of jewelry at work, so no padlocks or other subby-type symbols. Something that's different from a regular old necklace, but won't raise eyebrows, you know?

My budget is about $200 and it'd be extra awesome if we could find someone in the Northwest so we might have a chance at looking/trying on in person, but that's certainly not a requirement.

Any suggestions?

Also, are there any male pyls who wear a collar (or something else with the same meaning) 24/7? Have you had any comments/questions about it in the workplace or otherwise outside of kink-friendly groups/events? Any other information or experiences to share regarding your (or your male pyl's) collar or collaring?

Thanks in advance! :rose:

i used to wear a dog collar with padlock 24/7; however, it wasn't always socially appropriate and eventually became uncomfortable due to wear and degradation of the steel from body acids, showers, etc.

W/we eventually settled on a silver bracelet; mine is madae up of three very closely intertwined, twisted chains. It's a handsome piece, very masculine, and suitable for any occasion. The only comments i get are, "I really like your bracelet!"

I really like the bracelet idea, but we're not sure how practical that would be, given his job duties part of the year and how beat up his watch generally gets.

Yours sounds very nice. Do you have a pic? Did you buy locally, or online?

The bracelet is something Mistress already had; i'm not sure for how long. i don't have a pic, but i'll see if i can get one and post it.

If he's around machinery in his job, a bracelet is not a good idea.

A few other ideas: my wedding ring (an antique that we found it on e-Bay, believe it or not, but W/we could never have afforded to have it crafted) has intricate gold filigree that looks a great deal like knotwork, and so it has that meaning for U/us. And, I have a rather unusual silver ring (this one came with me to the relationship) that is composed of four loosely woven silver strands; again, very suggestive of knotwork to the discerning eye but completely acceptable in social circumstances.

If i can manage a pic of the bracelet, i'll also try for shots of the rings, just to give you a better idea of what they look like.

I collared my pet with a chainlink collar with one of those small silver plated almost heart shaped lock. He wears it almost all the time with little issue besides people looking deliberately at it. He says sometimes he sees people looking at it and he can see the "I don't want to ask" thought roll across they're face and then they look up and smile like "I wasn't looking at you". He can't wear it to work, and generally anywhere around where work-related individuals might be. We can't afford it, but I want to get him something like the Eternity Collar which has no visible lock and looks like a nice band either around the wrist, ankle or neck depending on the size you get. I've discussed an alternative style collar, not worn around the neck, like a bracelet or a ring, but it has specific sentimental value for him to wear it on his neck, so I'm always on the look out for somthing a little more vanilla for things like family events (I don't let him wear his collar around my family. while my dad's side would brush it off and let it be, my mother's would be a little more vocal about their issues with the whole thing).

How about just going down to home depot and grabbing a few links of chain. If he wears it reasonably loose it should pass.

The eternity collars and bracelets are really nice. I know a couple of subs who have the bracelets and they really like them, especially because they're heavy enough to have a constant presence for the wearer.

That's an interesting point about the collar having sentimental value. My guy feels that way too; the collar invokes very specific, powerful feelings for him.

Thanks for taking the time to find those, Stegral! :rose:

I like the first one, and the site for the second link is one I'd seen before and really like.

I wore a "collar" around my ankle for 2 years. Ma'am used a small stainless steel chain and small padlock from a hardware store. I could cover it with a sock when needed.

Just an idea.

Possibly this thread? Though for the life of me I cant recall if there was a discussion of where some of the fabulous pieces came from

I know I got the one I posted in there from cuffme.com but older and wiser now, though the collar is nice and discrete, I am in the market for something far different lol
