Making a Murderer

It is, but it is intense. From beginning to end. I was pretty worn out after watching it.

On Episode 4 - it is binge worthy, but holy shit! fascinating..and you are right it makes you angry, confused and then angry all over again...

Thanks for the heads up...sounds very deep and dark...but good...I will watch it when able...thanks...:kiss:

I haven't watched it yet but I was at a party yesterday and that was a big topic of conversation. Am going to have to check it out.

Yeah. It certainly pissed me off. Then made me question different scenarios. If anything it makes for great water cooler talk.

I think so at least. It isn't for everyone. It's drawn out, but done in a good way. It's just crazy to think it is all real.

I started MAM last week but failed to see the hype from the first Ep. and haven't gone back to it. I guess I should give it another go.

I read where quite a few people felt that way, but once they powered through the first episode or two, they started to see what the hype was about. Episode 3 and the ending of episode 5 took be from sad to open mouthed and literally saying "Are you fucking kidding me?"

Got up to the end of Episode 5 last night and I did say a number of times just that.."are you fucking kidding me?"

My brother, without a doubt, thinks he is guilty. I am on the fence. My wife thinks he is innocent. That's what makes this case so interesting.

Yeah, yeah, yeah. Back to flirting with me and Suz. :D

I just binge watched the fuck out of this. It's fascinating. If it was a book I'd say it was un-put-downable (is that a word?). I think that whether he's guilty or not there seems to be a very obvious reasonable doubt there that leaves the State's case in question. It's obviously biased towards one point of view, but I felt genuinely horrified at just how many failings of process all came together very conveniently.

The horrible thing about such an addictive show which was structured so dramatically is that I had to keep reminding myself that this was a real murder with a real victim, and whether he's guilty or not, it's terrible that there is such a sense that things aren't resolved yet for her, her family or the suspects. :(

I feel so bad for the nephew. Neither of them are particularly bright, but the nephew is also so painfully introverted... it is easy to see how they could coerce a false confession from the kid.

I'm not convinced that Steven Avery is innocent, but the way the police and prosecutor's handled it was horrible. And even some of the judge's decisions were poorly handled. Why that prosecutor wasn't in trouble for poisoning the jury pool by detailing the crime details on TV is beyond me.

But on a lighter note... I TOTALLY have a crush on Avery's defense attorney, Dean Strang.

I agree with you. I don't think we know the whole story. I don't think Steven is completely innocent and I do believe the police planted evidence. The documentary really was a roller coaster ride.

While Steven's lawyer is a cutie, I can't help but melt over the silver fox reporter! I don't know who he is but wow!

All of this. If Steven Avery is innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt, then he should be a free person right now. Of my many other questions, why were no other leads pursued or followed (something that was also ignored in his first case) ... any way, the whole documentary just made me sad and frustrated.

But, on a lighter note - yes on Dean Strang! :)

I just read that one of the networks is putting together a documentary on this with the view that he is guilty. I'm looking forward to seeing what was left out.

I am unsure whether he is guilty or not. I don't think Brendan is however. I think he was coerced into everything.
