LustfulOne - you were one of the first people to welcome me to lit, and I thank you for that. I have read your words of poetry, since you introduced yourself to me long ago. Thank you for the honor.

The words that fit my life have changed from moment to moment. You have one work that speaks of stitiching words together, and others that speak of meeting the perfect person.

This work is one I have read often and it relates more to my life now then it ever has. Thank you for your gifts of verse.

Your words make me look outside and be thankful for everything we have, and it makes me ache for the things we have lost. The world untouched by man would be a beautiful place. To go back in time and view the things that people have destroyed through time, would be exquisite, but to see them through your words is just as beautiful.

Your poems bring out nature's delights, and passions colors, and they are two beautiful things that make this world spin.

Loneliness
..

On this moonless twilight,
A haunting darkness emerges,

As it silently embraces
The nights magical dream.

Arise, Majestic golden orb,
Emit your radiance,
Upon this slumbering land,

Marveling, lingering,
Envisioning,
Your magnificent brilliance.

I can not hide eternally,
Within the gray shadows
Of my castles gloom.

With only the brilliance,
Of the radiant moonbeams,
as my companion

Before long,
I hope to materialize,
The free spirit that I once was,
Soaring lightheartedly,

I no longer feel free... I feel weighed down by too much. Too much grief, too much sorrow, and way-y too much loss. I'm so tired, tired of just 'being'... tired of existing.

never knowing we were late.

Twisted turns, and rambling roads
both of us astray.
Lives lived in different times,
and in different ways.

Looking toward the future,
grasping what we can.
Each one of us not knowing,
but try to understand.

Destiny, fate or circumstance,
never knowing which it was.
Drove me to the greatest heights,
and left me there in love.

She needs...


She needs you here to write,
on these long and lonely nights.
The words don't flow as well,
and come out rather pale.

She needs your loving face,
to hold her in her place.
The eyes that shine at her,
mend broken, shattered words.

She needs to hold your hand,
as she travels cross the land.
Waiting for the time,
when you and she will rhyme.

She needs your comforting touch,
the one she wants so much.
The one that keeps her safe,
inside this sad and lonely space.

She needs the friend she lost,
and will pay at any cost.
To hold him once again,
and welcome him back in.

She needs to know he cares,
and he's always there.
He keeps her safe and warm,
on the nights she feels forlorn.

She needs to tell him this,
with a lasting, loving kiss.
That he is her soul-mate,
and she will always wait.
