Hello my sweet Cajan Queen...missed you I hope all is well for you and you have the daughters...I know how you fought...and I missed you alot my dear:rose::kiss:

well hello darling, you remembered, that's nice. I am well, I still have one of them in my life, but do not have custody of her, the birth mother is still so stubborn, but I do get to spend time with her when I visit Louisiana, and we talk, text and write every day. I spent a week with her at the end of July, it was glorious.

As for my other daughters, they are all grown and on their own. I have several grand daughters now, and a couple grand sons, I do love all my babies.

I have missed you as well my dear friend:rose:

Stopping in before I get dressed and brought some hugs, squeezes & juicy :kiss:sss for you :)

An Old Dusty Goodie

The Box

It had sat for many years with its hinges coated with rust and a lock on it that was almost impregnable. The room that it set in had grown cold, but it must have seen light and warmth once for there were dead roses there with much dust gathered on them. The fireplace bore old ashes meaning that a fire was lit there once. The room was littered with unfinished works of art and poems of love. The room looked liked as though someone closed the door on a Friday and never came back.
There came to its’ door a beautiful lady, whose spirit seemed to fit the lock to the room door. She entered it knocking away the cobwebs and proceeded to assess her find. Her light showed brightly in the room. She took all the old unfinished works and placed them in the fireplace and started fire where none had been for a long time. She swept out all the old dust and cobwebs. She polished everything inside and made it gleam as never before. She even replaces all the roses with fresh cut ones from her garden of love. Finally in the corner she found the box. There she slowly removed the rust lovingly and great care. When she placed her finger soft and tenderly on the lock the lock fell open to her as if it had been waiting for her touch. Carefully and with some nervousness she slowly opened the old box. Finally open, it looked empty, but in the corner deep inside there was a tightly bound old wrapped package of warmth and love. Reaching in she gently picked it up and held it to her breast knowing it was now hers’. She could feel its faint beating as it came to life. Raising it to her sweet lips she breathed more life into it. The warmth and love responded quickly lighting the room and providing her with more warmth. It knew this was her room and it wanted her there forever. The love made it cozy for her and she knew this was her room and it was meant for her. She gladly accepted her newfound warmth and love for it was hers and it was given freely to her. She allowed it to enter her and remain forever. Her spirit as his had found where they belong. The room soon was soon filled with great works from love and to perfection unknown to it before. Oh, as for the box it never closed again, for the love and warmth that had been buried deep inside had found their home and it was with her and her tender care.
Thank You My Love for Finding the Box:rose::kiss::heart:

"IT'S YOU who told me I could even when I felt I couldn't! IT'S YOU who sees the best in me! IT'S YOU that I yearn to see in the morning. IT'S YOU who makes me smile and laugh even when I don't want to. IT'S YOU whom I was made to love! IT'S YOU I would give up anything for! IT'S you who holds me close. I am so thankful to have such a blessed husband to call my own; you are so charming and supportive! Thank you for being my number one fan. I love you!"

few years ago when I married my husband, I never would have guessed how he would fill our home with laughter. He gives me the greatest gift every day - the gift of joy:heart::kiss::rose:
