Lust for older women = Oedipus complex?

Hello everyone; I noticed that a lot of young guys (like me) seem to be into "older" women (older not necessarily being "old" but just over 35 or so). Don't count me out - I'm one of those definitely. But someone suggested to me the other day that lusting for women older than you are means you have an Oedipus complex. What does everyone else think - does the fact that a lot of young guys like older women mean that all of us have some strange, almost incest-like infatuation? Or is it just something natural?

No, not to me. The taboo nature of incest can stir a drive in me, but I would NEVER commit it. Just plain wrong. Rather, I think older women have an aura of knowing what it is they want in life, and using their lifelong experience can make a situation all that more exhilirating. Kinda hard for me to explain right now (it's late & I'm tired :) ), but, given a mood, an older woman will look 10x more fuckable than your run-of-the-mill, young, 'I wanna be Britney' slut.

BTW, this thread/topic is better suited for the "How To..." Board (as in seeking an explaination) or the "General Board" (to be lost amoung the other grabled threads). Not a bad thread, just wrong spot!

Actually an Oedipus Complex means your infatuated with your mother not "older women" even though your mother should be older than you there's just lots of other women around that are older than you and are not related to you. It's that whole going back to the womb crap.

Just like the play called Oedipus Rex or whatever. He killed his father and later married his mother and conceived children by her although he was not aware she was his mother. Later he found out and gouged out his eyes and stuff.

This complex was created by that sex psychologist guy, Sigmund Freud....along with the Elektra Complex which is basically daughters fixated with their fathers.
