I have many weird thoughts when I'm alone after a night with my girlfriend. They're not stupid perverted thoughts, but ones worth responding to I think.

How do you people use lube? No that's not asking how to apply it! What I mean is do you use it all the time for everytime you have sex or what? I just hear it mentioned a lot on here and well me and my partner haven't done anal and she's normally very wet after foreplay and it isn't hard to have great sex. Just wonderin if we're different or if you just use lube on special occasions...?

We use lube mainly for anal sex and rather large dildos. When it's regular intercourse, there's usually no need for lube unless we're going at it for a long, long time.

BTW, Eros is a great lube!

anal only. for both of us. his ass just cant lube itself...

Different Guy, I used to wonder about the same thing... and no lube isn't always something that you just gotta have (except with anal stuff)... although it is very interesting for regular sex. Even if she's aready wet. You might want to give it a try. It's also good for morning sex, when she may not be as "receptive".

I have found that one of the icky things about getting older is that a female does not always produce as much lube as when she was younger. So, sometimes a little help is needed, on occasion.

Lube normally used for anal, but not always a necessity. I've discovered, in a clinch, that using saliva can be just as good. It depends on how used to anal you are.

Also use lube for anal sex toys (occasionally), and sometimes vaginally if the toy is large.

I have only used lube for anal activity, but SexyChele is correct...women sometimes lose that natural lubricant, especially after menopause.
The only other thing I can think of is the fact that some lubes are flavored, and if you want something other than your partner's natural taste, I guess that would be two functions of having it around. (Though, I can't imagine NOT enjoying your partner's juices...) I went to a sex toy party (very fun), and they had us sample some of them, and they all tasted kinda like chemicals to me...yuck. We sampled them of of the back of our hand, by the way (boring)!

there are also medications and health problems that can cause women to need extra lubrication. I have low thyroid and when I don't have enough thyroid (either naturally or artifically) my whole body is drier, including the vaginal lubrication.

A sex toy party? How do I get invited?

My girlfriend is taking the course to be a seller of Fantasia stuff - once she gets through, I'll send ya an invite to a party.

Lubrication is almost always needed with condoms, on the inside if not the outside. 95% of all condom breakage is due to insuficient lubrication inside.

What lube out there is "oral sex friendly"? My wife and I use K-Y once in awhile, but once it is on my wife, oral is off limits. Any product out there that is nice and slick and edible, too that will not make a mess of the sheets?

Age and the loss of some of her inner parts caused my wife to lose most of her moisture and after trying numerous things we finally hit on plain old mineral oil from the drug store. The oil bottle is the first thing that gets tossed on the bed and we use it very liberally. We like long sessions including lots of oral and there is virtually no taste and she loves to have as much of my hand in her as I can get during foreplay and the mineral oil facilitates that. It also helps me last longer as it cuts the friction. When we sense that we have had all we want, it is not problem for me to cum, even though she is liberally coated with mineral oil. And it is easy to wash off afterwards. While we use a lot of it, we don't seem to have a problem with messy sheets - it seems to stay on the body. Another nice side effect is she will have a nice soft crotch and my face is nice and smooth.:p

We use Wet Platinum. Not much problem with taste there. We've only used it once or twice when we wound up doing oral. I take a medication that sometimes wreaks havoc on my system, and then I have to use lube.

We have just started playing with lubes and have tried the wet brand it seems good to me just get the flavors you might like and give it a try. I am looking into the different kinds to try now, its fun to experiment:devil:
