Lost

Lost has been dropped by me.

I would love to get into heroes but I'll have to wait til they get the first season on dvd or some kind soul teaches me how to use bittorrent.

Amen about the Others being a fucking drag on the storyline.

Have to disagree with your Juliet assessment to some extent... while she is now close to or a little over 40 (and if she isn't she is looking it) she was quite the hot number 8-10 years ago and hasn't lost all of it.

Jack being the resident Others bitchboy is getting tedious too and the whole upcoming relationship with Juliet vibe they are trying to put in is even more tedious. Why be the bitchboy when ya know they have ya for a reason and aren't going to kill ya ya know?

And on a different note... sure that Bai Ling chick has nice fake tits but eh she looks and looks to be marketed on her streetwalker looks which isn't exciting to me.

I agree about the others.

I hate it when a show has complex characters we can pull for and like but then tears them apart to be whiny ass bitches.

Juliet may be past 40 or not but that doesn't mean one has to look like death barely warmed over. Of course some are born with "old just crawled out of the grave" looking faces. There isn't much they can do about it.

Claire is lovely.

Kate was hot but now she cries and argues too much for no particular reason. That's not attractive.

Anna "I've got a bad attitude" wasn't pretty but she was hot and fun to watch.

Bai Ling looked skinny and boobless in some shots. Her hair cut was cutting edge strange but the coloring was kind of interesting and creative. In some shots her boobs looked fake and to be honest painful.

It reminded me of when I was breast feeding but the baby had missed a feeding. At times like that the boobs are impacted feeling. It's not comfortable.

Sun is attractive. Too bad they've now made her into a spoiled, manipulative, flirtatious bitch.

The girl that helped Sawyer and Kate escape is hot.

2. Charlies Tattoos. Which I wasn't aware was even a mystery...
You mean the "FATE" or whatever he wrote on the tape bands on his fingers? Or did you mean Jack's tats? In any case, I had forgotten about the FATE thing, makes sense now...

As for Charlie dying, I can't say that I'll be broken up over it. He's such an annoying whiny bastard.
But...I will miss his widdle cwooked nose! :(

Let me get this straight...

That tattoo on the left arm of Matthew Fox is REAL and rather than pancake make-up over it like they normally do with other celebrities, they wrote it into the storyline?

I just noticed that Isabel the "sheriff" is played by Diana Scarwid, she is the woman who played poor, tragic Christina (noooo MORE wire hangers!!) in Mommy Dearest. Her voice was amazingly deep last night.

I thought that was her! Every time she spoke, in my head I was hearing "WHY DID YOU ADOPT ME?"

Tonight...

‘Tricia Tanaka Is Dead’
The discovery of an old, wrecked car on the island leads Hurley on a mission of hope; Kate and Sawyer reunite with their fellow castaways; Kate remains unsure about leaving Jack behind.

They are not playing last weeks episode before the new one.

Does this mean we'll get to see people like Jin and Locke, you know, people who used to appear?

And with whom we are not throughly disgusted with . . . yet?

From J.J. Abrams, the creator of Alias, and Damon Lindelof (Crossing Jordan) comes an action-packed adventure that will bring out the very best and the very worst in the people who are lost.Out of the blackness, the first thing Jack (Matthew Fox, Party of Five) senses is pain. Then burning sun. A Bamboo forest. Smoke. Screams. With a rush comes the horrible awareness that the plane he was on tore apart in mid-air and crashed on a Pacific island. From there it's a blur, as his doctor's instinct kicks in: people need his help.

Stripped of everything, the 48 survivors scavenge what they can from the plane for their survival. Some panic. Some pin their hopes on rescue. A few find inner strength they never knew they had -- like Kate (Evangeline Lilly), who, with no medical training, suddenly finds herself suturing the doctor's wounds. Hurley (Jorge Garcia) – a man with a warm sense of humor despite the desperate situation – does his best to keep his cool as he helps those around him to survive. Charlie (Dominic Monaghan, The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring trilogy) is a faded rock star who harbors a painful secret. Sayid (Naveen Andrews, The English Patient) is a Middle Eastern man who must wrestle with the racial profiling directed at him by some of his fellow survivors. Jin (Daniel Dae Kim, Spider-Man 2, 24) and Sun (Yunjin Kim) are a Korean couple whose traditions, values and language are foreign and thus causes much to get lost in the translation.

Sawyer (Josh Holloway) has an air of danger surrounding him, and his intense sense of mistrust for everyone around him could prove to be fatal to his fellow castaways. Michael (Harold Perrineau, Oz) has just gained custody of his nine-year-old son, Walt (Malcolm David Kelley, Antwone Fisher, You Got Served), after the death of his ex-wife – they are a father and son who don't even know each other. Locke (Terry O'Quinn, Alias, Primal Fear) is a mysterious man who keeps to himself, and who harbors a deeper connection to the island than any of the others. And self-centered Shannon (Maggie Grace, Oliver Beene) – who actually gives herself a pedicure amid the chaos – and her estranged controlling brother, Boone (Ian Somerhalder, Smallville) – constantly bicker and must learn to get along if they are to survive.

The band of friends, family, enemies and strangers must work together against the cruel weather and harsh terrain if they want to stay alive. But the island holds many secrets, including the intense howls of the mysterious creatures stalking the jungle, which fill them all with fear. Fortunately, thanks to the calm leadership of quick-thinking Jack and level-headed Kate, they have hope. But even heroes have secrets, as the survivors will come to learn.

It begins tonight and is the only new show that I've seen advertised that seems even remotely interesting.

Any others?

Oops, sorry, I thought this was about "Lost in Space".

Tonight's episode

‘Enter 77’
Locke, Sayid and Kate investigate a strange structure and its mysterious inhabitant; Sawyer competes in a pingpong competition to get back his belongings.

Wouldn't you think John learned his lesson about punching keys on a computer already? geez.......is there an Amish community on the island they can confine him to?

Some random stuff happens. No questions are answered. That's all you need to know.

I used to think John was a really cool character - with a sense of mystery and even shamanism about him... while I LOVE the show I can't say I like the direction he's taken. I understand his background now and why he needs to believe - but after being taken advantage of by his Dad and many others through his life - and like you said after what has happened on the island with the computer and punching keys... well, I think he's just coming across as dumb now.

No nicknames?? That's half of what I like about Sawyer. I'm praying he doesn't lose the bet.

Only for a week. I thought it was a lame bet actually. They could have done much better - considering the stakes.

So I bet next week he's back at the nicknames again. Which btw, I do like too...

It did suck as far as I'm concerned.

I so wish they would do a 2 hour uninterrupted episode for sweeps. This 47 min of crap is really staring to grind on me.

ENOUGH FUCKING FLASHBACKS. MOVE ON WITH THE NOW!
