Hey KisstheSky,

I would be more than happy to try to keep up with you! :D

(and it even looks like we don't live too far from each other - so hi neighbor)

Good idea. Hooray, someone finally acknowledged me here! I'm gonna celebrate with some masturbation.
Just Kidding.

THAT said, I think I'll celebrate the midnight hour that is now approaching! ;)

Congrats to you for dropping the poundage. It is always an inspiration to hear of success stories like yours. If there was one common struggle in our society, I'd have to say it's the struggle w/ "our" weight. I, too, struggle, but I'm pretty lazy. Had a gym membership last year, but stopped going. Now i'm about to get a job that's close enough to home so that I can ride my bike, and THAT is a bonus...If I drop about 45 lbs, I'll still be a LITTLE voluptuous, but I'll definitely look like a brand new person...Looking forward to starting! I definitely have good eating habits, though, but could probably lay off the wine just a bit! ;) (wouldn't you know, the job i'm GOING to get is at a winery! ha ha!)

:D

Morning, all -

This is weird and odd. You know, when, for the first dreaded time, you go to the closet for a pair of shorts.. wondering if they're going to fit, thinking about the winter weight? I must have the most self-delusional memory. I thought, "Wow, I've been losing weight, going to the gym, maybe I'll fit into those shorts from last summer. Maybe." I was all optimistic, thinking the shorts were 18s, and I'm now back in an 18.

No.

The shorts were: three pair of work/paint covered shorts: 26, 26, and a 24. And two pair of clean/non-work shorts, 22, that I remember buying toward the end of the summer, and they were really snug.

Ohhhh my. How on earth have I forgotten that I looked like the broad side of a barn? I tried them on for the heck of it... it was weird to look down through them at my feet, and go wow... my legs used to be this big around. In my memory, I was expecting size 18 shorts, and I know I used to have them. They must have been from 2 years ago, and I threw them out hopelessly last summer.

So, do I chop off a pair of this year's work pants, or just wear jeans? I want summer!

Third option--just be beautiful as you are.

:D
