It's not fucking rocket science. Muscle can be damaged by trauma, muscles weaken with age, and exercise can help with both. It's not an attempt to "problematize" your heart when you're told that exercise reduces the risk of heart disease and premature death. Dying is inevitable, but I'd prefer my heart give out at 80 than 60, and I feel the same way about my pelvic floor.
Telling people that resistance training will help prevent brittle bones in old age isn't stigmatising aging, it's empowering people to improve the quality of their lives in old age.

In America, the big money is in keeping women becoming incontinent. All those pills and pads and surgeries to sell!

Why would you need a doctor? You should just consider doing kegels as part of your self care regimen. A couple of minutes of exercise you can do while you watch TV, stand at the checkout, or brush your teeth. You don't need any equipment, you don't need to be in the gym, you can do them anytime you want. It's like brushing your teeth twice a day... you do it because you care about yourself, and it becomes habit.

Look them up online, the NHS site has some advice and explanation.

If you decide not to once you're fully informed, that's up to you. You're an adult, and you can weigh up whatever pros and cons seem important to you. Your body, your choice!
