Looking for author

The rest of us had to learn to write by writing.
This is so true.

I was always a reader, not a writer. Except for technical documents (at first science and later work-related). But I took a step into the void (the Path of God 🤭) a few years back and haven’t looked back since.

The way I have improved is by writing.

I’m looking a writer willing to take the idea and run with it

Well first and foremost: what author you might attract would depend on the idea. And how fleshed out your idea is.

Without at least a few details of what kind of story idea it is, you're not going to get much response.

Looking for author. I have some ideas. Looking for an author who may want to write about them.

You sit there,
tapping fingers,
asking me to shape your world,
to breathe life into your dreams.

Words spill from my soul,
but they are mine,
each crafted with care.

It feels like chains,
binding my imagination,
while yours rests in silence,
waiting for the spark.

Create your own rhythm,
discover your own voice.
I can share my light,
but I won't dim it
for your climax.

U der the story ideas
So this:

My partner was hit on at her university holiday party three weeks ago. I’m 36, she is 39. We both attended. It was by a colleague in another department…and his wife. My wife and he are in different departments that cross paths from time to time. He always sings her praises to others. His wife was dancing with me while he was dancing with her. His wife let me know they like to get to know her more…. With my permission. His wife told me I might like to see how well they pamper her. Their personal number is still on a napkin on her bedside table. I think she is more shocked than anything. We have had pillow talk about it. I like the idea of others lusting after her. We have a great sex life… this is just a lot to take in. Maybe some new writer has some ideas. I don’t know.

I’m not sure what you are telling me

I have some ideas but I’d like the author to take over at some point
I’m now super confused as - on the other thread - you say you want this story to convince your wife to fuck the other couple, right?

Are you after a story or life coaching?

I’ve written fictionalized versions of real events, but generally after they have happened, not in the middle of them playing out.

Thanks. I paid an author once before and was not happy with the effort given and how expensive it cost to write it.

Here's what you do, then:
1. Read a bunch of stories here.
2. Find one you really, really like, by a writer whose prose really hits you.
3. Reach out to that particular writer. Be up-front with your expectations and be willing to pay.

We post hundreds of stories each week here, for free. You can think of those as us, auditioning for people like you. You have access to the stories of hundreds, thousands, of people who can do what you want, and you have the ability to judge whether or not you'd enjoy the kinds of stories they like to write.

Use that.

If that's how you found your writer last time, then try again... but lay out your expectations in advance. You learned a fairly expensive lesson. But as a guy who's done commission work before, for customers who were very satisfied? It worked best when there were clear expectations up front.

Good luck.

I have. Never heard back from any. It’s ok. I tried.

Fair. If it's not in the cards, it's not in the cards.

I agree with others here who urge you to write your own, but I'm aware that advice might not work for you; we advise it because it worked for us.
