I love LOLCatz pictures. They are funny and we all need more funny.

I have included some of the more classic LOLCatz pics and a few of my favorites. I’d love to see your contributions and favorites.

The best ones are the ones you make yourself. Here are all the tools you need to do that:

Photo Ca(p)tion Generator Program so you can make your own LOLCatz pictures LINK

LOLCatz pictures have their own language. LOLSpeak 101 = Learn the proper way to speak "kitteh". LINK

Once you make a LOLCatz picture you need to move it to this thread. That can be done via photobucket or with Faphost.com LINK

Enjoy and have fun!

I absolutely cannot stand LOLSpeak. *sigh* The captions would be funny to me without the lame lingo.

I love the lingo!

I just don't like it when my adult lj friends use it in non-captionary applications.

I am forever fascinated by ad hoc dialects like lolspeak hip-hop, leet, Cockney slang...

Come down for a visit during school hours and listen to the Indian kids talking to each other.

What do they speak?
Hindi-English?

I like Spanglish, too-- there's a difference between Mexican Spanglish and Peurto Rican, for instance.

No. They speak computer help line English. Call Dell, it's a real treat! :D

No, they speak pan-Indian English which is definitely different from Californian. My South Asian kids come from all over the sub-continent and they all have different home languages. Hindi is actually the rarest. Most speak versions of Gujerat.

It's not much worse that what I grew up speaking in Wisconsin. "Let's go up town and shop the windows" or "throw the horse over the fence some hay, you know". :D
I can hear those U-shaped 'O's and those O-shaped 'U's just reading this. :D

It took me forever to figure out that Bob Dylan speaks-- and sings-- with a very strong Wisconsin accent. I thought it was some kind of put-on.

My sister and I used to laugh our butts off when we watched the old Howie Mandell cartoons because of house his mother spoke. we always yelled to her "Hey Mom, you're on television again!" :D

Sure can't completely disagree with you on that. Sometimes I have to sit for a couple minutes just to figure out what the hell they are saying. Depends on the pic though. Some are just funnier in LOLSpeak.
