Since we are without our fearless leader at the moment, I have a question that is Lit related, and I don't feel like starting a whole useless thread about it.

So, how come people can't post pictures of their lady bits or their manly bits on Lit? We can post boobs and butts, but no genitals. I see that there is some reference to U.S. law in some places on Lit, but on sites like FetLife, etc. there are pictures of full on sex acts from amateurs posted all the time. What's the deal?

And also, how come this isn't uniformly enforced, ie, people post their dicks in their AVs and profiles all the time, but if they post those pictures in a thread or in their signatures, they're removed by moderators. Also, you can post gifs and stills of professional images of dicks and pussy in say, in the Playground and in the Fetish and Sexuality forum, but again, those images are removed from threads in AmPics.

And don't get me wrong, I have zero interest in seeing anyone's cockatar, but there seems to be a strange code of rules that isn't uniformly enforced here.

What am I missing?

I have been mulling this over for a while myself. My knee jerk reaction with all the politics aside, Is that the female form has long been regarded as beautiful. It is widely accepted in culture and viewed as such by both men and women.
The Male form seems to take on more of a stark contrast and almost appears to be negative and wrong.
That's what I feel I have seen anyway. Just my 2 cents.

My understanding, Ruby, is that if it is HOSTED on Lit servers it will be removed, thereby keeping Lit "legal." If it's hosted on a site that allows such images and linked here, it's ok.

It really depends on how a moderator determines the guidelines, I think.

On Fet Central, even if the photo/gif/what have you is hosted elsewhere, if it depicts any sexual act/or has a big ol' hairy (or not so hairy)hooha showing... It gets removed.

I'm not sure why that is, either. I've just learned to be careful of what I post and where..

This is in keeping with Sweetsam's topic. It could be approved by Lit, but Chained...?

This attire is more appropriate to Christmas time where I live than he, but if he wants to visit and enjoy a summertime Christmas wearing this, I wouldn't complain.

if it were just me, Christmas engagements are fine. However, grabbing the kids, getting them ready, pulling them away from their new goodies, etc.. Just seems too hectic for me.

I'm in favor of seeing the smiling faces of all of the beautiful children when they receive gifts and things they have wished for. I remember that as a child, that wishing for something you felt you just couldn't live without, only to find it under the tree.

I'm in favor of that with or without the Santa suit. So, basically, I can live without the rest...maybe. Or maybe not. I do cherish time with family, that warm feeling of being around loved ones, being known for who you are, acting silly, the jokes and smiles, the traditions.

I have a couple friends I definitely notice when they are gone. I like my friends and I wonder about them when I don't hear from them.

We made a rule once our kids were older and we added a few more, that we weren't leaving our house on Christmas eve or day......christmas night was okay. But it's just to darn hectic to cook and peel the kids away from their new stuff.

Saying all this....i wouldn't mind ripping myself away for some adult (actually adult. ..not dirty you pervs) engagements.
