To show a picture you put directly in front of the code, and without a space behind it to finish it. You also could use the "ball-paperclip" in the bar above your window. The picture won't show unless you click on the underlined word.

You're talking about an original posting, I'm talking about quoting a pic/gif post. If you use the quote function the pic shows up again. If you copy the link to the post instead, then it only shows the URL to the post, rather than putting the pic in the thread again.

I’ll share my opinions all day long. On most things anyway. As far as personal details, it really depends. If I get to know you I’ll share things going on in my life, but I’m definitely not likely to let go of anything identifiable. I like my privacy.

That said, there is one person who does have my phone number. And my name.

For me, it depends how well I know someone. There are certain topics I typically don't discuss, as they just aren't smart to discuss, like politics and such. People get all bent out of shape. I would rather argue about things that matter. Like whose boobs are best.

I don't care to tell people my last name. It's Italian and pretty rare. No one needs to look up my last name as typing in Manganiello just leads right to me.

There are other areas of my life I am more apprehensive about sharing, but with the right friendship, I have. Not really something that I've regretted.

3) I keep most real info- real emails, real name, town I live in, etc private. I have a family/life that I keep private. I do allow certain general things like I have kids, and a husband and I live in Texas but I don't go into specifics. I share more with some, than with others. Some people are just easier to chat with but I don't lie, I just wont answer some questions. I would much rather spend a little time flirting online than discussing how to cure cancer... I guess I just prefer to keep convos light and easy. If they are too serious or too hard, I bail.

ON the forums, not much. However, if I get to know someone and the level of trust and connection is there, I'm willing to open up and share some parts of my life. The rules between online and offline aren't very different (at least for me).

As far as letting people in, there's always a caveat that they will turn out to be someone who isn't worth trusting. But you'll never know not unless you're willing to risk it.
