I've never watched anyone but this one place I lived a few years ago I woke up in the middle of the night to the sounds of passionate fucking. I thought for sure it was the young couple right next door to me. Mostly I was annoyed because i had to get up in the morning but at the same time I was impressed because it sounded like they were really making it up that mountaintop. I mean she was screaming like a banshee like she was having 12 orgasms in a row.

At that point I noticed my phone on my bed and realized I accidentally rolled over in the middle of the night and opened the last page I was looking at. A was hearing a porn hub video.

I can't believe I'm sharing this. My lord.

Ahahaha that could have gone forever, if it was pro porn.

That's too funny!:D

I've had a few dreams of a Lister after intense discussions on.. naughty topics. The dreams are usually passionate, intense, and vague. *chuckles* The Lister's face is always in shadows, his voice isn't clear but I understand what's meant. :p.

I've had a couple of dreams involving Lit people. Some sexual some not. I have crazy dreams and fairly often they're narrated by Sir David Attenborough. I'm not kidding. :(

He has one of the perfectest voices for narrating. I am hearing it in my ears just thinking of it.

Curious thought this morning......how many of you have dreams that some how entail Lit. How many dream of people you've never seen? How pervasive had Lit become in your life?

Funny you should post this...I dreamed about a sexy litster last night and she and I were have sexy sex. I've seen her IRL, though. :D

This morning it's not going to be a deep introspective topic but rather a true Litiquette one. When perusing a pic/gif threads it's become irritating to me when I see multiple images in the same post. 2 or three are fine but last night I counted 8 in a single post and it just seemed too much to me. They were all related, so I understood why those were all put together but it seems almost lazy to me. As if the poster is saying "I can't make up my mind which of these is the best, so you do it" then of course there are the quotes of it, where we are required to scroll down and look at them all again. So the question is is it poor Litiquette to post 6,7,8 pics into a single entry, or do I need to get over myself.

Hmmm. I think quite possibly you need to get over yourself.

If I post a few together it means I really like them all and want to share with my fellow pervs. Means I've taken the time to search and post...quite the opposite of lazy. :p

Not untypically of me, I am in two minds on this issue. I have a preference for images and gifs presented thematically. If well chosen, perhaps representing a progression, they can tell a story, inspire fantasies, and make us...think. If it's just a collection of same but different images and gifs, then I concur with Chained, whether he's old and cranky or not. Use Lit threads to share your favourites finds. Otherwise we might as well all trawl through Tumblr ourselves. Limiting the number of images or gifs in one post is a good discipline. Linking them with comments can show us more about the poster and not just show us what he or she found. The Animal Within (who usually presents images and gifs in groups of five) springs to mind as an excellent example of this done well. Very well, in fact, to my mind...

Repetitious quoting of excessively long image/gif posts can make the post entries for that day boring and change the thread with an interesting original post to one which I increasing flick scroll increasingly faster past the numerous duplicated postings. Individual images can be isolated for individual posting and comments but few bother to target their quote posts this way. If numerous people are quoting the original, and it's filling the page, maybe consider restraint to re-quote the entire post or let it go, recognising that it's popularly liked. Speaking of liked, a LIKE button on Lit might save this particular annoyance.

The Animal Within is brilliant at posting his fantasies!

I wish there were a like button as well, and the quote function hid the quoted text by default. My wife posts on a knitting forum called revelry, it has a great setup, including both of those features.

There are times when the thousands GIFS really get to me. Mainly because I'm on a phone and if I'm not on 4G, those things take forever to load. I mean, if it's a picture thread then I'm not complaining. But if it's just some random thread and people post a string of GIFS, I could do without that.

Again, that's just my personal problem being on a phone. But doesn't the world revolve around me? I'm American and all. :)

For me I'm actually more annoyed by the signatures that have the big GIFS in them. Especially when they post like 5 times in a row. I could turn off siggies, but then I'd miss some amazing ones where people say things like "don't PM me" or other such pleasantries.

Personally I'm indifferent but will admit I find when there is a theme or some context I find it more interesting than just a series of random GIFs. But since I've never posted a pic or gif I really shouldn't be critical.

Bites put my thoughts on the subject in words perfectly.

And Pmann my thoughts on siglines (yes, autocorrect, that is what I meant, if I want to write "silliness" I'll write silliness).

I think you need to get over yourself. *smirk*

The Animal Within? :catroar:

*pauses for genuflection*

May his picture posting, and the captions that accompany them, never cease.

....Ummm, what was the question?

I don't really mind multiple images in the same post, though it can be annoying if there's a lot of it in a thread normally reserved for discussion.

The images in siglines? I agree with pmann and Dutchrain, annoying to have to scroll down through such continuously, though I doubt I find them as annoying as I rarely use my phone to access Lit. Bitesback has a point as well. No need for everyone to quote an entire string of pics every single time.

Hmmm. Seems like all I'm doing is agreeing with others today....

Multiple pics in a single posting never really bother me. Gifs, if excessive, can be annoying, but even that's not really all that bad. What bothers me most is big flashy signature lines with pictures, gifs, 4000 different font types, sizes, and colors, hundreds of emoticons and links to other stuff. It's just craziness. I'm not going to read Joseph's amazing technicolor sigline, but I might be interested in his post that says, "I agree," or has pics of sexy women in lingerie.

Stop that.

So unlike you.

;)

Happy birthday Endless_Night!!!

I hope you have a fantastic celebration tonight!

:rose:

I apologize for the slight derailment folks!

I don't mind multiples or a series in a single post. I get tired of scrolling through the same pics/gifs over and over however. I wish people would just reference the post # when they're commenting rather than quoting.

AMEN!!!!! I mean god, how many copies of the same pic do we need to wade through...sigh...

Plus, it makes things load slower, and it slows down the server....
