They are 120V power sources. That just means you plug it into a 120V power outlet. The arc that is going on your skin is on the order of tens of thousands of volts. If I had to hazard a guess, I would venture to say upwards of 30,000 volts in order to draw that kind of arc. You need both amps and volts to give power. At such a high voltage, very little amperage would cause a massive power flow. Hell, at 30,000V, half an amp would give you 15,000 watts of power. But I'm sure it's on the magnitude of milliamps.

And just for reference, more people die every year from 120V than anything else.

At any rate, apparently I just needed the right type of dynamic. And someone who knows what they’re doing and likes to lead. For me it’s all about the inner drive. All that thinking can get a girl a bit worked up; if you know what I mean.

I am impatient by nature so in that sense, I am a doer. I subscribe to the adage that if you want something done right, do it yourself. :D. I'm naturally driven when it is something that means a lot to me. I don't succomb to peer pressure, in all honesty, who has time for that?

In the last year, I've found myself more adventurous. Being more comfortable with that part of my personality has allowed me to explore and enjoy. I haven't regretted any second of my discovery. It's added a dimension to me that was never there before. Freedom of expression, any form of expression, allows the soul to breathe and find its center. I'm not quite there yet, but I will get there.

There's danger in anything. That's where trusting that the person using the wand has not only good equipment, but the knowledge to use it properly. The people at the events I've used it were vetted and it was their own personal equipment. I was at one event where there was someone that didn't act like they had any business handling one, and we avoided him.

So you pick your partners carefully.. The wands, the ropes - being tied and even suspended, cupping.... Whatever it may be, can cause injury. That's why you have to be careful.. If you wanna live life out on the edge, like I do... That's what you face. I guess I could sit at home, but where's the fun in that? :)
