Clowns (and others) ducked behind the defense of saying 'that's how you read my post' and occasionally that can happen, but more often not. We're all supposed to appreciate writing and have some understanding of its nuances whether they're spoken or written. I didn't notice any emoticons in his fist rant to show he was exasperated, not finger pointing. A social grace that would have helped.

I really am tired of the whole thing to be honest, and am not interested in conducting a post mortem.
Agreed Rainey. I'm glad it was a party I missed. What was chaineys question today anyway. Is it still today over there? :)

It is. And here you go.

Happy Thursday everyone.

Often times on my way here I pause in the Personals section and see what's being posted. I'm curious as to their effectiveness. Are they like mass mailing PMs, where its a pure numbers game? Do they attract trolls? Are they trolls in disguise? Are they men pretending to be women? Why are they so often fairly knew members with fairly low post counts?

So many questions....

Agreed and that's why I left it alone in the end I spite of all the unpleasantries that were coming my way.

I've had to deal with many unpleasantries directly to me at work. It happens. The best way I find to go about dealing with it is stepping back. I keep saying that, I know.

Why was this said to me? What are they trying to say? What's the source of that particular emotion? Is there a disconnect in communication? That last one is generally the winner. If I get upset about someone not doing something they should have done, sometimes it's because I didn't take the steps to clarify the direction properly. A simple course correction is easy. If I wasn't wrong and my communication was correct, and you still fucked up? We gotta talk. Tell me what you think I said. Why would you think I meant that? Do you honestly think I want you to do that and not this? Let's talk about this for a minute.

It's easy to get upset when you think someone is wrong or when you think someone is telling you that you're wrong. People want to be right all the time and they defend when faced with the opposite. It's sorta silly, right? If I'm wrong, I own it, just as someone else owns their mistakes if they're wrong. It's okay. There's nothing wrong with that. Maybe neither of is is wrong. It's all good. Just step back, keep a cool head, and talk it out.

:)

Seems I always miss the fun (not fun?) stuff. Without reading through everything...the one thing I gleaned from skimming...I really do enjoy indepth coversations handled respectfully. I wish more of it would happen beyond this thread.

yeah, for a second I thought Chainedup was trying to bait me.. But then remembered he's smarter than he let's on around here. :D

I know for a FACT that men get bored with me because I rarely (see! I didn't say 'never') dip into the cyber thing.

Thank you, ladies, for saying you liked my personal. It has brought to me at least three pen pals I otherwise would not have had, one person who was shocked I'd be so open about certain things, and another who, well was a complete ass. No big. Comes with the territory.

However, to make a very brief commentary on my AV, profile, and banner, I have those up because I'm extremely proud of how the shoot went. The last year and a half has been very tough, and I needed to feel sexy. I needed to feel attractive, and I needed to hear it ....from both men and women.

Does the fact I needed to feel/hear those things mean I absolutely, unequivocally want to undress for you in front of a camera?.. No.
Does it mean I haven't done it and swear on my parents' graves I never will? ...No, it doesn't mean that, either.

What it means is I, on a very basic level, would like to know I'm not a disgusting pig you wouldn't be caught dead with in public, let alone introduce to your friends. I want to hear I'm beautiful, and attractive, and sexy and that I'm good for scratching more than an intellectual itch. I started and contribute to the BBW threads because I know I'm accepted there.. Even if some people consider it a fetish...at least I know where I stand there.

I'm sorry if some people don't "get" or understand another person's need for outside validation. Whether you understand it or not doesn't matter. The bottom line is that some people post sexies for validation..some people get off being exhibitionists, and some people really just want to fuck... Just because some of them want to be inundated with "fuck me now, bitch" messages, doesn't mean we all do.

Here's my obligatory analogy.. Saying my sexy av is saying "I want to fuck" is like saying someone keeps Lifesavers cause they want to eat candy. Some people keep LifeSavers because their blood sugar gets low. Both people eat the candy... But for two entirely different reasons ..

Thanks!! That was just what this page needed! :D

I knew it!

I like boobies.

This page is for you!

Amen, girl. I'm really sick of this entitlement bullshit being spewed around here.

Yes, I post by boobs. Yes, I want to be told I'm sexy. Yes, I want to be told you like my ass. No, I don't want to hear how you want to assault me. No, I don't want to hear how hard you want to pound me up the ass. No, I don't want to see your dick covered in cum. Some women do. I don't.

No one is entitled to any part of my body or my sexuality, even though - YES, EVEN THOUGH - I post a boob in my AV.

There is a little bit of a double standard here and in real life.
Women can show their tits and men are expected to silently crave and desire and wait for an invitation.
Men.. if you have your boyparts in your AV.. you're a dick
Just get used to it
The pussy writes the rules

I don't think that's a fair statement. I've never said I don't welcome or expect comments on my pictures. It's why I post them - for the feedback. And all types of sexual comments come with the territory. I've always accepted that - some I even enjoy.

I'm also allowed to not like certain comments, and to be offended by them. That's well within my right.

I know, right? I have magnificent boobs, BTW.. An absolute, asymmetrical work of fucking art!! I tell you!!: p

word.
I happen to like dicks. Some of my favorite fantasies involve me and a dick. I don't mind cockatars around here. I read recently that men are so very closely tied to their dicks that to truly love one, you must also love the other. You can not separate the two, so three cheers for the cocks!
Hip hip! Hooray!
Hip hip! Hooray!

well call me IHC and beat me with a feather..
I never said "all women" or "SweetSam"
but we've had entire threads devoted to the stupid-ass shit men send in private messages and many have carried on about how grotesque it is to receive an unsolicited cockatar..
the point wasn't that you shouldn't show your boob -
it was that there is a double standard.

And if we need to hear it from me..
I'm a little weirded out by cock AVs.. despite my extreme love of boy parts
but I don't mind boobs in them.

I think people may be arguing two points here. I don't think anyone expects to not get comments if their boobs are in their avatar. I mean, I'm getting comments on the daily about my big, beautiful, black cock. Some are inappropriate. Some are kind.

I think the issue has to do with the bad, rude and inappropriate comments. No one should be expected to put up with that. I think it's important to make that distinction. I disagree so much with people who are offended when someone makes a kind comment. I don't think guys should have to get a permission slip to talk to girls. But I do think people have the right to not want overly sexual messages. Just like in real life, you shouldn't be a dick. You shouldn't be a dick here. (Unless it's funny)

I never mentioned comments at all.
That takes it to a whole nother level. (a whole nother is, in fact, an appropriate midwestern contraction sans apostrophes)

The few people who have seen my tits were certainly welcome to say anything they like. I've found that the most efficient way to get them to stop saying things is to stuff my boobs in their mouths so they can't talk.

It's a very proactive approach when you think about it.

You guys bring up a good point. I was having a conversation the other day about the various things we call the male member. It was interesting to me that she thought cock was a horrible word and preferred the term dick. Whereas I much prefer cock over dick. What makes one better/worse than the other?
