I'd definitely ask if he had any extra pillows. I don't mind bringing my own next time. Presumably he'd want me to be comfy and come back. ;)

Of course...I could just use him as my pillow.

The Pillow Situation

Hi, my name is Paul and I am a sleep addict. I've slept for tens of thousands of hours. A good pillow is the key to sleep. If hers were not up to snuff, I would bring my own - and an extra for her to try.

I don't even grasp why a person would hesitate to bring this one up right away.

And finally the unicorn has arrived. A topic that was met with universal agreement. Glitter for everyone!

A good pillow is like a Swiss army knife. It stands up well to multiple purposes.

*Note to self, invent glitter-suppression-spray. Or a glitter dispensing can of pepper spray. Or both.

"baby.. buy new pillows so we can do that thing that you like…"

it wouldn't take long actually. If we're at his place, we're already that comfortable.

Happy Monday. I'll try and make today's topic a little lighter.

You've been dating awhile now. You and your lover have progressed things along and you've been asked to stay the night. You're thrilled because it signals the next step in the relationship. But.....the pillows at your lover's place suck, and no matter how you try, you just can't get used to them. How long do you go before you tell your lover?
immediately....

I'm going to buy some on the way there, in fact..or bring my own.

I'm the exception to the rule here. How long would I go? Forever. I wouldn't say anything to him about his pillows. I would just deal. Also, I hope to be spending much more time resting my head on his body than his pillows.

:rose::rose:Finally, a little while ago, Chained resolved to have more fun on the threads and he has now broken tradition and put himself out there as a romantic man who regularly indulges in PDAs:eek:, as appropriate, in his real life.
Once I got over the shock of the out of the blue revelation, I realised it was a rare, genuine insight to the man behind the curtain, and yet it was mostly ignored. I thought it sounded just very gentlemanly and adoring. And I am sure each gesture is appreciated. Thanks for sharing.

I completely concur. After reading that, my perception of him changed entirely. *swoons*

It was, indeed, gentlemanly and adorable. :rose:

What's a pillow have to do with Lit?

I think there is a pillow fight thread someplace if that helps ... but we are hypothesizing that those pillows are all inadequate should I be allowed for a sleepover. We can make popcorn and watch movies and braid hair and read dirty magazines like Dirt Bike and Motocross Action!

oh, good grief...

Who let the boys over to the sleep over?!?!?
;)

I guess I'm low maintenance. I've used a coat, blanket, shirt, or a chewed off arm for substitute pillows, it's never crossed my mind to bring my own pillow. Frou frou pillows are just...what's the point? You can't use them for a pillow, they usually have decorative crap embroidered or hanging off them that's going to scratch my face.

Is it just me, or does this seem a little self serving? :D

I too am looking forward to the Walking Dead being back on.

I said I would braid hair! Very sacrificial. Humph.

How about a boobie pillow?

Finally! Breasts that won't get annoyed with me for biting too hard! Do you want my credit card info here or in PM?
