Thank goodness my parents barely know how to use the computer - I'd die if they were on here! If my mother even suspected that I frequent this little corner of the internet, she would immediately start praying for my soul so that I don't wind up in the eternal fires of Hell.

Time to put the train back in the tracks.

Is Lit the place were you are most self centered. And by that doing things for your own enjoyment. I think for most of us it is. I know most won't answer because it is for them too but if you are in the minority, please share where you are even more worried about pleasing yourself.......(yeah, and we all saw the masturbation jokes before you so don't bother posting them ;) )

*puts dick back in sheath*

I am told outside of Lit that I am a selfish bastard. So, I think some consider me a selfish bastard wherever I go!

I don't believe I am more self centered here than in real life. I think I'm in a different boat than most, but my reason for being here now has so little to do with my humble, 18" cock.

I am just as self centered in real life.
I just bought someone a belated birthday card that reads,
"I'm sorry I missed your birthday..
that must have been awful for you to have to celebrate without me."

This is sort of a tough question for me, but I'll try to answer the best I can. For starters, I'm probably not very self centered here. I come here to post and some minor interaction with others. Nothing more.

As for elsewhere, I suppose I'm much more self centered in my real life social interactions. I tend to base all possible interactions on whether or not I can enjoy someone's company or not. Is it selfish? Yes. Normal? Probably. I take it to an extreme, though. As bad a character flaw it is, I most certainly judge people by their cover. If I judge you as dishonest, selfish, greedy, hypocritical, annoying, untrustworthy etc, then I will most likely immediately lose interest and not allow you to be any part of my life at all. First impressions and outward presentation of you are everything to me and if you don't seem like you will meet my needs of you as a human being, then you will not be part of my life. Does that make me a hypocrite? Absofuckinglutely. Self centered? Yes. I wish I wasn't that way. It's a really shitty character flaw. Is it because I'm so untrusting? Some of it, sure. Is it because I'm so worried about people disappointing me or hurting me? Sure. Does it make it excusable? No.

Did I read too much into the question? Probably.

I think so. LOL

Okay, for those that like to work ahead.....but no posting until after midnight of whatever time zone you are in. Brits and Euros have to wait until 7am local time.

Topic: Many of us here are young enough that it's not out of the realm of possibility that our parent(s) could be here. What would you do if you discovered that someone that's been here as long as you, was a parent or close family member? Would you tell them, would you just stalk them, or would you just throw up on your mouth.

My rl ex posts occasionally, he was who introduced me to lit. He mainly reads the stories. Not sure if his current wife is here or not, that would be strange.

As life rolls along some days are better than others. When you are having one of those "not as good as other" days do you come to Lit hoping that your mood will improve or do you show up to just escape?

I come to lit grouchy sometimes because for me grouchy=stressed and I deal with stress by masturbating usually. If I want masturbation inspiration I come to lit. Those times I probably don't come across as grouch but hyper-sexual but if I 'virtually' tearing your clothes off, chances are I had a craptastic day.

Days like today, a good day, got laid this morning (and it was better than normal), feeling good, feeling content, I tend to just mosey around a bit.

What about you chained? Are you having a bad day?

Sometimes it makes me happy when I'm here. Sometimes not.

I'm normally a pretty happy person. This week has been a really bad week for señor pmann. Things have been very unhappy here. I show up here regardless of how I feel though. I don't know that my mood has ever hanged whether I came here or not. It certainly isn't an escape for me here.

I always come here to escape...it all depends on my interactions with others, as to how my mood improves or declines.

Usually if I'm having a bad day and I'm on lit, I try and just lurk or post pictures or something else fairly innocuous. Sometimes folks here can bring me out of my funk, but usually I need to clear my head totally and that's when I do something creative, like a new recipe or a label.

Lit's not really conducive to creativity. If ya catch my drift.

A little bit of both really. Being around like - minded others is generally good for a laugh, which usually leads to an improved mood.

Ditto. When my real life is happy and sexually satisfying I have no time for Lit, but when I need an outlet, this is my escape. I apologize for popping in and out

I read the question a few times and thought about it for awhile ...

I truly don't have an ulterior motive to log into Lit.

I don't have hope of it instantly turning my day around and the opposite is also true...I won't allow it to make me feel a negative emotion that will ruin my day, my life...

I make the decision to log on for the following reasons...

I have made a few solid friendships on Lit that have made me WANT to log on regularly, even if it's a short note to say hello and to have a happy day.

I also log on to read, be a Lit Voyeur , and to entertain myself at the posts that people make.

I enjoy posting as well....and then there are days when I am so mentally drained it takes too much energy...

If you had asked me this question the first day I became a member, well, I am sure you would have been given a different response...

I was like a kid in a candy store...
and now...
I am still a kid at heart, I still love candy...
but I am extremely selective

I suspect traffic will be fairly light this weekend in the land of Litiquette-ville but that doesn't mean it should be topic-free. I'm going to ask this question and assume there won't be much of a response but my curiousity is driving the question.

Many of us here are married and use Lit as an outlet. And there is an endless debate on whether being at lit is cheating. We can have that debate another time but how many of us would actually cheat on our partner? Honest-to-God-having-sex-with-another-person-without-your-partner-knowing type of sex? Or is Lit good enough to fulfill that itch and you won't cross the physical line?

Ahhh....you & I have had this discussion.
For me the answer is no, I will never cheat on him, and yes...Lit does scratch that itch for me.

It's an internal debate that I constantly have though.:(
