Good question but I think this is all a set up.

Chained told us he'd not be around much, he practically offered his thread as a free house for the weekend. Having provided the opportunity for unsupervised shenanigans, he's in typical voyeur mode now.

My air has broken and it's 100+ degrees outside. The temp in my house was 92 and I'm staying with my parents until Tuesday.

Too hot to post.

I made another 16 glasses of grape jam today, after attending the big do for the old-people's home in our neighborhood.

And I did two rounds on the tablecloth for a friend, which already has a diameter of 86 cm.

I even multitasked, since I watched a few episodes of "Under the Dome" while I crocheted. My offspring had been talking about that series, so I decided to take a peek. It is quite nice, but not nice enough for me to go off course from the pattern.

I also cooked supper. We had pork-loin in bread dough. I made the dough while I waited for the grapes to cook before I could put them in the passe-vite. Which is a very annoying name, by the way because the fruits or whatever you put in it, passes through only as quickly as you are able to turn the handle.

The dough had a rest (and rise) until the grapes were ready for the sugar, and then the dough got a second kneading.

The rain drove us home early from camping, being stuck in an RV with extra kids was more patience than I had.

So...cooking a leftover chicken down to make chic and dumplings,, laundry, and getting set to watch Dr. Who and Under the Dome.

And probably take a nap.

Errands, errands, errands. Not as exciting as some of the things others above have done. I did spend too much at The Body Shop, though. That was fun.
