<---Will Fuck For A Good Alt

I've never used an Alt here on Lit. I have done it on other sites though. I did it for one of three different reasons. First, I had an alt so I could come online and be alone, without PM's, without chat or thread stalking. There are times when it is nice to be an anonymous stranger. Second, I did it to avoid specific people, usually trolls or stalkers. Third, I had written using a woman's name as a pen name on other sites, writing some first person stuff from a woman's POV. In that case, though it was an alt, it was not a secret alt. A lot of reasons to use an Alt. Ultimately, to each their own. I have known a good deal of women who had Alt's to avoid stalkerish men or to avoid the onslaught of dick picks.

So, more power to the Alts.

(Answer to the poll 3 - 5, but willing to go higher.)

(Oh! Breezy! Thread stalk! (Checks box in Stalker Manual check list.)

If I ever made an alt I would probably get confused and start trolling myself. :(

Seriously though....I did have this one person who kept pm'ing me....and then he'd forget and write me from his alt.....he'd copy and paste my message but deny the alt  I probably wouldn't have even cared but his post history for the alt was creeeeeeeepy.

LOL You may get your stalker certification soon! ;)

I'll totally out myself as a lit slut on the poll. >10. In a year on lit. And honestly, there have been so many I can't even count them all.

i created an alt a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNGGGGG time ago, and played around with him...it was mostly to annoy asshats that had annoyed either me or my friends here. Everyone who knew me, knew it was me and I didn't keep very secret about it. What's fucking CREEPY is this "alt" I had was a rude, obnoxious fucker...not unlike myself :D, and within minutes of creating him, I got pms from "girls" sending me links to their boobs, etc...

It was absolutely nauseating..A few weeks ago, I created an alt specifically to be an anon poster of pics in one of my threads.. this time, just me, only no profile. I kinda wanted to be left alone while I posted pictures, yk? Again, within a few minutes of logging on, I received pms from two guys, "welcoming me..." and inquiring into my wanting to RP..

Just kind of makes me sad that there are so many who are either so desperate for contact or too horny to think straight that they'd go after the first "newbie" light they see. :(

That crashing sound was the server that holds Sam's PM's....

On a personal level I guess I am not surprised that people on a sexually oriented site are seeking sexually oriented contact - and probably sincerely surprised when they are rejected. That has always been one of the strange dichotomies of sexually oriented sites. Too me, that is like going to a strip club and then being surprised there are naked, drunk, horny people all around you.

(It suddenly dawns on my that I've probably made one too many bar references...LOL)

I understand that about being on a sexually oriented website. However, I also liken this place to a bar of a sorts. You don't walk up to anyone at the bar, whom you have never spoke to and then whip your dick out and ask if they want to fuck.

Neither, do you walk up to a guy a flash your boobs and say..."like my titties? Btw, what was your name?"

Unless, of course you are drunk..

So, I would propose there should still be a little etiquette involved even on a sexual website, because otherwise it's just rude.

Or it's Spring Break.

And the titty question would be answered with a motorboating.

LOL - I am pretty sure I spent a good share of time in that very bar.

lol...

The only time I flashed guys I didn't know, I was drunker than snot, at a frat party, and it was pouring down rain. I was already wetter than a river rat, so it seemed like a good idea to just pull my shirt off...
Still don't remember what possessed me to remove the bra...

oh... yeah... it was half a fifth of Jack...

The shit we do in our youth

Lit is the only place where I feel free to be shamelessly myself. I love that freedom and I think, for me, having an alt would defeat the purpose. Since I've consciously decided to be out and proud, I figure the PMs come with the territory. I've only blocked a handful of people in 4 years and two of them I'm sure half the damn board has on iggy.

yes, well said.

I've never used an alt here. I've never had the need for one. I'm pretty sure that my current username and all is just fucking awesome, so why change? CAN I GET AN AMEN?!?!

I think for guys, the need for an alt is if you're trying to do weird shit. I do enjoy seeing the alts get mixed up at times. That's a funny sight.

Omigid YES. :D

You've been outed with your current username. So, now you're free.

I suggest something like this:

"Hi, my name is Sam and I like cockatars. Big, veiny bangsticks in my direct line of sight. I can't get enough of them."

Yes, because sarcasm isn't lost on so many of the brilliant users here. Haha.

I do often wonder how much sarcasm goes undetected here. Man I'm certain that some people here are really just unaware of how things are intended. I can't imagine how many of my posts get taken the wrong way.
