Good morning everyone.

Rip the bandage off fast or slow? That's one of life's greatest debates. Pros and cons to each. Kind of like posting here, is it best for newbies to just jump in and post and take the bumps and bruises or is it better to wait for a bit and make sure you've hot things figured out.

I say jump in because the time will never seem perfect and bumps and bruises will come no matter when you start posting.

There's nothing wrong with jumping in feet first. But, at least acclimate yourself with your surroundings. I jumped in and started playing the game threads. I am sure there were people that hated it when I played them, because I would always fuck them up!

Think before you speak. I actually saw this thing on facebook tonight. It said, "Think before you act, Think twice before you speak, and think three times before you post on Facebook." Change FB to here...and it fits...

LOL I saw that same quote on FB earlier!

Jesus. No offense intended, but I'm glad I don't attempt to organize people like that. It's probably naive. But I'd rather than that than the alternative.

hahahahahaha I knew when I hit submit someone would take me seriously.

I should have added

- The Australians.
No one understands their humour or their accents.

Sorry, sorry. It's the lazy American in me. I'm not used to putting I that much effort for the long-term punchline. I just assumed you were serious.

Glad you got a laugh out of it, that was the idea...

Sorry your week has been shit though, it sucks donkey balls when life is like that. Here's hoping it improves for you

I don't think I'd call it a class system, but it's certainly like most other large groups of people and has it's sub cultures/groups.

I like to break Lit into the following fun subcultures:

The *bewbiesquish* Girls
- recently seem to have usurped The Cake Crew.

The Leg Humpers
- no explanation required

The Bingo Ladies
- mostly found gossiping behind closed doors.

The Brains Academy
- We all hush when they talk.

The Friendlies
- Often found mingling with The All Rounders, The Brains Academy and sometimes The Observers.

The Parasite
- Yes. Just the one.

The Elitists
- almost always feeding information to the Bingo Ladies and turning their noses up at every other sub culture.

The Observers
- They just quietly take it all in and on occasion can be found visiting with The Friendlies and The Brains Academy.

The All Rounders
- This species is rare but brilliant in its ability to adapt to all other sub-cultures.

The Exhibitionists
- Often found humouring The Leg Humpers, feeding fantasies and just generally loving themselves sick.

The Writers
- All work, no play...unless it's for research.

The Untouchables
- Often found floating around enjoying their own little worlds, wowing people with their brilliance when they choose to, and generally and not caring much about anyone else's shit.

The Invisibles
- They're here but you rarely hear from them or notice them when you do.

All these groups bring something unique and fun(ny) to Lit, except maybe The Bingo Ladies who are just usually mean.

This is worth quoting!
You made me grin after a very, very early morning.

And I am wondering a bit where I do fit in ... *grins* I think I'll keep too what I told the man who once had the pleasure of interviewing me for my first job and asked me which group in school I belonged too. I told him I am/was just me.

Bwahahaha that made me laugh out loud when I read it.
Tee hee :D

I'm glad I amuse you :p :D

Soooooo, on the back of that, what's the litiquette for exiting a thread in a dignified manner after a Freudian fuck up, Flutterby stylee?
Do ya just kind of shuffle ya feet, blush, and leg it, or what?
Enquiring minds want to know *ahem*
