I don't mind BDA (and am pretty guilty of it at times) but what does make me vomit in my mouth is when you see the same person dribbling and in love with a different person every other week. Oh please... you're not in love, you're just a fucking loon.

Totally, totally agree. It's lovely to see people happy but I don't want to read about it in every fucking thread I open
It gets boring verrry quickly.

I bring myself. I don't believe in being someone or something you're not. People can get hurt when others pretend to be something they're not. Lying and pretending to be something you're not is something I can't tolerate.
It helps my Lit life because I don't need to lie or pretend to be someone else or have to remember who I said what to. I'm upfront I think it makes life much easier.

FaS has summed it up for me too! It's not much to bring, but it's the best that I can do.

I wondered at first whether I had misunderstood the question, but I think my answer is as simple as that. Of course, there are some aspects of my life that I don't bring into Lit, but I imagine that's true for everyone.

I don't see the point in faking who you are...especially guys pretending to be bi-sexual females....

I think there is a difference though, that some people can be more themselves here than they can be in RL due to social pressure and shyness. The anonymity can give people more confidence and strength than they may have 'out there'....

I try to be me, and if people like it, fine, if they don't, fine. Up to them, not much I can do about it really.

However, lets be totally clear, I am awesome, and your just foolish if you can't recognise it. Your loss.

Yes I think Lit can be somewhere you can express yourself, feel more confident, easier and it's acceptable. But that person is still you.

There are four things I always try and bring from real life into my lit board posts. I try to be as compassionate as I can. I try to bring a smidgeon of intelligence and think about what I am posting. I try and bring a bit of humor and wit. Finally, I try to write relatively complete sentences.

I thought I would dip back and answer the question about the things on Lit I find ooky. Strangely, about the only time I ignore a Litster is when they have an AV that I just don't like cluttering up my visual space. There is no real pattern to AV's I don't like - I just don't like some. As for board content - if I am not interested in the content of a particular board, I generally just don't go there.
