Did a little research and it looks like this room is exactly how America is with your church attendance. This number reflects the people that actually attend regularly not people that say they attend regularly. I didn't know what to expect I just think it's very interesting.

Okay late and/or early morningers - Litiquette topic to discuss amongst yourselves - we've all been there, innocent exchanges on the threads, then a PM cute & funny, which turns to many and then for some reason it just doesn't click. Do you tell the person all the whys with a good chance there'll be drama or do you just let it drift off, not responding as fast, then slower, then not at all..... My hunch is the approaches are at best evenly split but if not, skew toward the drift away approach.

Alright, discuss, I'm off to bed, can't be as pretty as I am and stay up all night ;)

I think a pm telling the other it's not clicking. I agree with what some of the other ladies posted -

I was torn on "regularly." Every Christmas and Easter is regular for some. I go once every month or so. So, I wasn't sure which way to vote.

I'd like toss in the fact that just because lots of us don't go to a predetermined building on a specified day doesn't mean we don't have faith.
There are people in my life who do go to that predetermined place at the specified time with great regularity and I'm pretty sure a lot of them are going to burn in hell if their own rules apply to them. (Not me judging just a guess based on how they live vs. how they say the rest of us should.)
If your poll had been how many people consider themselves a person of faith or who lived that way I think the answers would have been different.

(Hi LTD :rose:)

LOL that's a novel that will never make the NYT list!!
BOR--ING
not bad though (that's a lie, I have been bad but not for a while :) )

How about you, your garden rosy??

Title it...50 shades of Boredom. It has a chance.

Meh, winter is here. Cold, dreary, shrinkage. Other than the loss of precious inches, I've been good enough.

Well, if cake and superheroes are your thing....

(no sarking there Ms Thandi :rose:) wrap it all up, please, I'll take it!

very true. .I can read and bible study anytime. my faith is strong. don't necessary need 4 walls.
with my traveling as I do - I do visit occasionally - but have seldom found one that I feel at home at. seems as the small towns I am in at times is where you find the most sincere.

Afraid to walk in a chuch it might collapse around me

If you're right and that's how it works then I'm about to crash the entire site. :)

Matthew 18:20 Where 2 or 3 are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.

It's how you live and what you believe, not where you spend your Sundays.
Every person has to decide for himself but for me? There is no sin without shame and I don't do things that I'm ashamed of. I know right from wrong and try to do right. I know goodness from evil and in my life I welcome one and try my best to banish the other.
No, I didn't go to church this morning. I still think I'm OK.

When I posed the question this morning I hat no theological intent, I was just hurrying to get ready, checking posts, and wondered to myself which of my fellow Litiquette-izans were doing the same. Up goes the poll question and it's been really enjoyable to read everyone's thoughts ever since. ;)

*Thinking perhaps Eden can restore some semblance of sanity here, while Chains is otherwise occupied :D

Me? Restore sanity? Thanks for the vote of confidence, but I think I tend to stir the pot more than anything.

Free naked Friday forever!!! :D

Maybe you're focusing on losing the wrong thing. ;)

I guess it's true what they say about only crazy people thinking they're sane! I never for a moment thought anything here was less than reasonable. Better get them to check my meds again I suppose. Damn. :D

It's still a rule. The only rule being that there are no rules.

Call it a rule of Chaos. It would make a great social experiment, don't you think?
